Sounds plausible. I just feel that 3 direct axe hits to the head of a prone Zed deal little or no damage, as they nearly always stand up(animation) and begin cycling attack. Only seem to die at *next* head damage. I've taken to letting them lie while knocked down and ready myself for my next attack.

I'd gladly trade my Engraved 1911 with 2 mags for an Amphib with same. My magnum serves as a great primary sidearm but Amphib excels at stealth.

Yeah, lots of reports of this. My first trip back to tent city in 2 weeks and wood floor tents spawned no items. -

I wonder how common dual clienting is. I often see: "Xxleetgamerxx1" and "xxleetgamerxx2" type tags in server list. Or "real" names joey1 and joey2. Most times they're right above one another. -

My personal challenge : Don't carry a long gun. Over 50 (stealthy)hours.

You WILL get sick. Charcoal Tabs. Just build a fire. Much more satisfying. You only get a 15 sec "cooked" window to remove meat. WOBO on YT has a great demo for cooking on .46.

Great thread Irish! I've been itching to practice at range for a while, as my DayZ scope skills are pretty shat. Been searching for a longhorn hard because of its stopping power. I know the longhorn is def not ideal for sniping but my character does not use long guns. -

Irish's rig is a great example of a budget build. Plenty capable of running DayZ with good results. I imagine he assembled, if you pay for a service like IbuyPower then you will of course pa a bit more. No reason to pay more than 500$ for a gaming system. Don't be afraid to assemble but no shame in ticking the custom boxes and having it magically appear on your doorstep in a couple weeks. Although sometimes the builders don't properly seat the components, like memory. Cruise Newegg and practice "building" a package. -

Why? "Geared up" is pretty standard terminology. Or "kitted up" for our Euro-pals. Not just in FPS games but also for MMORPG's as well. Hell, I remember the term from EQ2 in the 90's. Edit: I'm fully geared up and totally un-tacticool. -
