Being so front loaded might also impede movement/aiming and lead to faster fatigue. Equal weight on the back is much friendlier to your endurance. Makes a great case for Zombie Pack-mule.

Racists, nationalists, ethnocentrists can keep it to themselves. Like religion, you have every right to hold those views and even express them in acceptable forums and spaces. Private property, whether real or virtual doesn't count as an acceptable forum or space. Is there a difference between the thirteen year old giggling over the naughty word in their ingame name and the full blown skinhead using DayZ as a platform to advance their agenda? Maybe, but the results are the same. With such a large community we are bound to share the DayZ world with many of both but we are under no obligation to be subject to their message under the guise of "free speech" or to tolerate "some random guy on the internet". That's why I don't attend nationalist rallies or backwoods redneck klan/'militia" meetings.

I'm still having trouble with the binoculars. 1. Equip to hand. 2. Tap space bar. Raises binos. 3. First person. Staring at eye pieces from 6 inches away??? 4. Right click. Zooms closer to eye pieces. No "bino-view".

The game has to be accessible to a broad enough spectrum of players to achieve a healthy revenue spread. 60 m in alpha pre sales is a good foundation to build a great game but the 180 m for a successful post launch relies upon more than the 10-20% leet unforgiving mode players.

First thing I tried. Can't pan up past the grass, free look or otherwise. When I put them away I'm staring at the sky.

I have a pristine pair in my inventory and can only see grass. Kneeling or standing makes no difference. What am I missing?
