I decided to move this game to a SSD and man what an increase in performance. I am talking about joining servers in under 20 seconds as opposed to 2-10 minutes. And the FPS... Crazy!

Upgrading to an SSD is hands down the best improvement you can ever make to your gaming rig.

Movement has been increased since moving to an SSD. There are pretty much zero jolts as opposed to my HDD. My Rig: i7 8 GB RAM 7850? RADEON Saphire I am convinced that more has been improved than just load times. Overall game play has as well.

I get it, it's pre-alpha. But it is totally unplayable. Anyone else agree?

Is that truly the game plan? Join an empty server and head north for any useable loot?

I am more miffed that I have been roaming for 4 hours and not found a single loot on any server...

Every time it seems as though a zombie falls on the bolt and it is not retrievable. Am I missing something here? Discuss!

Duping is gone, the game no longer is zombie apoc on easy mode once you get a decent gun and ammo, zombies in towns seem to be a tad more dangerous now(or is it just me?). This game is now truly about survival and team work. Discuss!

Here I am overlooking NWAF and all of a sudden my buddy gets ganked by a dude in zelo he says the guy had a very heavy northern boston accent talked smack then shot him in the back. 2 minutes later the same thing happens to me in NWAF. I feel sorry for you and everyone else. I hope it makes you feel good ruining this game for people that try and play legit. You even have the nerve to smack talk. When I get older I want to be like you....

Even with a vehicle you cannot make it from Zelo to NWAF in under 5 minutes. Let alone, me not hearing it or him going to my EXACT position in a pine tree while I had a ghillie suite on. I'm calling BS here.

OP, I'm with you. The funniest part is that these people get off by ganking people who play this game legit and think they are awesome for doing it. it's said really. These people have no life and don't even know how to play the game.

Don't go there until you are geared up, have established a camp, and can live off the land. You also need to be aware of what's there. Both the NWAF and SS are death traps and if you are not familiar with the terrain you will be killed. You can be pretty stealthy and sneak up on the southern or northern barracks through the tree line but it is still a death trap. I recommend you hit as many deer stands as possible instead. NWAF have way too much hype.

After having a nuke dropped on me and then being teleported on and shot in the back in 1 day. I can honestly say that the most fun to be had is starting up and getting the gear you need to be able to live off the land. What about you? Discuss!

Well 3 weeks ago people used to ask if you were friendly or not before shooting. These days that doesn't seem to be the case.

Looting Stary Sober tents always get me a rush because there is almost always a hostile encounter.

I don't care if I die. I don't care if I lose my gear. But if a guy gets ganked by a teloporter in zelo and 1 minute later it happens to me as well by the same dude we can tell due to what he says in local channel. It kind of is uninspiring. How is this problem going to be fixed in beta?

Let's face it, after a little while the game gets old. You are fully geared, you have your NVG's, silenced M4/Bison SD, sniper rifle in bag, ghillie suite and so on. The only thing left to do is survive and hunt other players. There needs to be some sort of perk once duping is taken out. My suggestions are as follows: 1. Reward a specific weapon to players that survive a certain amount of in game time along with the amount of kills they get. Rocket launcher maybe? Special silenced side arm that is more powerful? Poison gas grenades? 2. Reward a special module for players that have survived a certain amount of time that have not committed several murders. The ability to have module to make blood bags? Something useful to the survivor mentality perhaps. Either way, there needs to be rewards for endgame. Otherwise it gets dull within 3 weeks or so and the only thing left to do is hunt other players and it gets boring because there is never that chance where they have better gear than you. Thoughts?

So... I log off near SS 2 nights ago and log back in. Just as I log in I see 3 guys running past me through the brush. Awesome timing right? I have a Ghillie suite, M4A1 CD SD, Ghillie Suite, and DMR with 3 clips. So I stay in the brush and look around. Low and behold there they are smack dab in the middle of a field together. 1 guy with a ghillie along with 2 civilians. All 3 armed with AK-47s. I laugh to myself at this perfect situation. Who doesn't? I pull out the DMR aim at the Ghillie and shoot. He goes down. Chris was killed. I then see the other 2 guys hit the ground and DC (LAME). So as I am clearing the field I have a look back and there is this guy watching me with binoculars near the tree line where Chris went down. Safe to say I zig zag and book it out of there. To Chris and his crew: DCing saved your 2 guys, but it didn't save you. I will see you guys around. Whoever you are...

Finding gear is far worse than server hopping to find kills. You are a hypocrite.

exactly the people disagreeing with me here probably have not gotten the gear and assume I am lying. The game gets dull.

How about this for realism. If a zombie attacks you, you become infected and turn into a zombie that you can control just not have any weapons. How is that for realism?
