Last time I logged out on a DayZ+ server I was on the outskirts of Elektro, extremely messed up by zombies. I need a blood transfusion...

Go to the coast and give your stuff to a random new spawn, and start again.

I thought seeing those guys in a thread I saw a couple of minutes ago shooting a fresh spawn on the beach was forever going to be the saddest thing I've ever seen in this game but not half an hour later I see something even sadder, and I don't even think this one is a troll.

I was at the Komarovo docks inside the massive industrial building (the one with all the catwalks and such). I found myself an axe and two other players who joined me. Eventually we attracted a shit-ton of zombies to the industrial building and we were fighting and fighting and fighting. Eventually the zombie hoard got so big that one guy made a run for it and escaped (I think), the other one was stupid enough to stay with me and was killed, and me, knowing I wouldn't escape, screamed "THIS IS SPARTA" and ran into the zombie hoard with nothing but my axe, killing as much as I could. My leg was broken, but I just stood back up and leaned on my good one. I killed them all but I was bleeding out badly and had no bandages. I passed out and died. I cant imagine the reaction of the next person who came by finding a dead guy with an axe surrounded by zombie corpses.

Read this guys signature. Thats what my reply would be if someone asked me to make a map this big.

Not so much hackers if you go on a private server, but you will always cry when you die in DayZ, whether it was from PVP or not.

The same thing happened to me, too. There was a Thunderdome and everything was lit up at night for some reason.

Im 16 and I usually ask people if they're friendly, unless their intentions are obvious (on a hill in Cherno with a sniper rifle, or on the roof of a hospital in Elektro looking for players to shoot at).

When I got used to it I found a crossbow and a makarov and just followed a random road, getting into plenty of trouble with zombies, wondering why so many towns had unenterable buildings... I eventually got chased by two zombies across the Chernarus countryside wondering why they wouldnt fuck off. I gave up and let them eat me (had no ammo), not knowing there was a respawn button... Another time was when I first found an Enfield. I was inside a building with only one door to get out. Another guy was outside and asked if he could come in. I let him in when a zombie agroed and hit him. He started bleeding so I got out the way so he could go into the building and bandage. Not knowing how loud the Enfield was I shot the zombie walking in. The guy said "Jesus Christ man! Now we're gonna get fucked up!" or something along those lines. within 30 seconds the whole town was around that little building. We tried to hold the zombies off, but we were overrun. He died first, I died second. Thats probably my most memorable DayZ newb moment for me... Had a good laugh... Good times...

(Second best for range and damage would be the AKM). So... As you can see I prefer the AKM...
