Feeling lonely is kinda the point. Abandonment, etc is all part of the apocalyptic feel of the mod, I mean yeah, having a team is good too, and not so lonely, but you still even as a team feel like everybody else besides your team mates is gone, and even for me I kinda get the feeling somebody is watching me when I play DayZ which is due to that lonelyness that lack of commonly seeing life.

Not entirely sure if this would be entirely possible.

I think this is a great idea, and make it so maybe you could set booby-traps in lockers containing your gear. Say you can load a revolver with a trip wire, only 1 bullet, and 1 time use, and they can evade it if they're quick enough to dodge after breaking into your locker. Not sure of the possibilities with the ArmA 2 engine, but I really think this is a good idea.

Personal favorites are #1, and #2. I laughed at the "I survived the DayZ Alpha" haha, I immediately thought of all the people who complain everytime Rocket puts out another really good patch, with a small bug, that is quite frustrating when it happens, yet everybody shits themselves. Funny stuff.

You know I wish people would get respect for the game, and realize without the hacks, it's actually quite fun, you actually have to put time and effort into survival rather than spawning with everything at your fingertips. It's really not worth the ban you get from BattlEye.

Basically he was my friend on steam for awhile, and recently, he PMed me asking me if I played DayZ and I replied with yes, and I asked him if he wanted to play, because I wanted some friends to play with since most my friends don't play, and we started playing, met up in Elektro, and I told him my guns were pretty weak and asked if we could go searching for airfields for better ones, so he goes around the town and tells me he found a better weapon, so I go to him and he gives me an M4A1 CCO Holo, and I asked him where he found it, he said in a garage, so I'm like okay, since he had a lot of good stuff, soon after that he says here, I wanna show you something, and spawns a crate which for me there was nothing in but for him he had every item in the game, and he gave me a gun from this crate without me knowing (The M4A1 CCO Holo), I thought a majority of the cheaters were gone, and didn't assume him to be one, but I want to request a ban on him, because I don't approve of this. He generally plays Chicago servers. The last server I say him in was US 104 Chicago, so be careful.

To be quite frank I would'nt have ever taken his gun had I known it was hacked, but he'd never told me, he just said "Come here" after giving it to me to show me the box with everything in it. Of course for me, I couldn't see anything in there but for him he'd apparently had everything. He said he used a script, and Cheat Engine to give himself guns, and anything else he wanted...

I know, but I'm hoping in some way they can use that to scan his account for hacks etc, by checking his key through steam. I don't know the capablilities of them, but I thought it might help.

Okay my problem is that everytime I start a new life, play for an hour, then get off for awhile (Since I'm kinda on a cramped schedule), then come back later, I spawn under the map on the same life, just in water, and from what I can see it looks like I'm under the map, not sure, but it appears to be so. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm using the steam version of the game, with Combined Operations. EDIT: Now it appears to only happen when I use Camo Clothing, without Camo Clothing, I just get knocked out when I first join, then when I awaken I'm stuck in the ground... This is incredibly frustrating and any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no BETA Chicago servers that I can find though...
