Been there.... it totally sucks, probably one of the worst things that can happen in dayz

My friend and I where fully geared (talking fully pristine m4 with MagPul parts and 40 round mags) however there is one specific piece of gear we wanted (and still want), the legendary blue press vest. We never found it but we did somehow find the even rarer anti-stab vest so we decided to check out Rifty seeing as the vest spawns there. We had survived 2 bandit encounters one of which was a group of 3 bandits but once we where there my friend somehow managed to fall of the deck. He freaked out (as expected) but at least I knew where not to go, only to fall of the deck myself 2 minutes later........ After everything we had survived. bandits, airfields etc etc we died because we had slipped of a boat. We didn't play for 3 days afterwards.

The risks of being friendly have seriously gone up since the olden days. While I don't Kos and try to help people out if you aim your rifle in my face or do something completely unexpected I will shoot you.

If your blood was fine maybe your health was low, there are currently not really any indicators to tell that it is low. And health regens slower and in a different way then blood.

I have to say this guide really helped me out when I started playing dayz sa, so to everybody that helped make this guide I would like to say thanks. And oh yeah I have an extra tip which I discovered while derping around with a broken leg, as you may know you can't crawl up stairs when your leg is broken. You can however sometimes manage to roll up sideways. This works best on stairs which have no rail guard, I hope some Bambi's (maybe even skilled players) will find this info useful.

The title says it all, if i had to choose mine would probably be "derpy" seeing as I constantly manage to glitch off stuf and die.

I found a crossbow so I believe it is my job to write about my experiences with it. Basically there are three things I noticed. - It is silent (duuuh) - It is very hard to aim and shoot without any scope attached - the damage of body shots to zombies is very low It looked extremely cool though but because I couldn't hit anything further away then 5 meters I dropped it once I found an sks

I think we are going to see a bike probably within the next 4 months, the rest probably after summer or later.

So i spawned up north to test 0.44 just to find out that all the zombies are 200 times harder to kill now. I did think that zombies needed a buff but this..... I mean my fireaxe is totally useless I had to use my sks to take down a single zombie because else I would bleed out. I normaly dont whine about games getting harder (hell I promote it) but this is kind of a gamebreaker

Hello my name is Alex. I am a Dutch high school student who plays dayz whenever there is time. I like to play as a hero even knowing that 90% of the other survivors will stil shoot you on sight. The reason I play dayz is because I like games where actual intelligence matters as wel as true skill. I usualy play with one or two of my friends but I also lone-wolf sometimes.

Best setup for an m4 is full magpul gear with a bipod. However if you want an automatic firearm for long range I suggest to look out for the next patch. They will (correct me if wrong) be adding the AKM which for one odd reason is going to be considerably more precise then the m4. Also I have heard it will be doing more damage.

I can 100% confirm this. Once me and my friend got shot at while looting the airport, I got shot and broke my leg. Seeing as none of us had any morphine or a splint my friend went on a trip to loot the medical outpost in Krasnostav. I remained at the airport guarding the door with my m4a1. Then I heard the voice of a presumably "younger" guy, he said he was friendly so I said he could come in without me spraying him with bullets. I told him what was going on and he offered to help me guard the tower until my friend came back as wel as offer me some food. He could have shot me straight in the brain but he didn't. This was probably the nicest encounter ever in dayz, I never had experienced anything near this situation with an adult.
