That would do pretty well mix of high and ultra and 50 fps out of towns and 30 fps in towns. The only thing that I could see replacing in the future would be the graphics card as the 750 ti is a mid range graphics card now. A good choice would be a 970 as it is inexpensive and very powerful. It has preformance only around 5-10 fps less than a 780 ti which is worth almost double the price.

Ah no I didn't I'm a dumbass lol

I'm sorry I posted it in the wrong area... Sorry

I'm looking into buying one of these two computers. (I also know gaming on a laptop would require a lot of money but I can get the 1st for free or the second for only $500) The first has an i5 5200u 2.7 GHz cpu (I know not very good) A gtx 960 And 8 gigs of ram The second has an i7 4750hq at 3.2 GHz A gtx 965 2gb And 16 gigs of 1600mhz ram Also a 128 gig ssd so I could put the games on that to load faster. How much more preformance would I get with the second compared to the first as the cpu is much better. The difference in price is about $500. Would the first laptop be able to run the arma 2 mod, sa, and arma 3 fairly well with a mix of low/med/ high settings? I'm looking for only around 30 fps in towns. This would all be in 1080p V-Sync off and most of the effects off because I think it makes it look blurry. Thanks.

What graphics settings and FPS would the highest alienware X51 UPGRADED for a NVIDIA GTX 760 ti?
-
Would a 1700 laptop be better than a 1400 desktop?
-
It is weird but the website I'm ordering from, for the same specs except for the fact they are i7 and i5, they cost the same.
-
Is the i7 or i5 better for gaming? I can afford i7 but I've heard it slows down some games, is this true?
-
Thank you and is the i7 better because I can afford it

Will this run dayz mod, bf4 on ultra or at least high with 30 fps in cities? Desktop or Laptop? Desktop OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit CPU: intel core i7 4790 8MB Cache, 4.0 GHz Ram: 8GB DDR3 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Monitor: 1080p OR 720p SSD? No Also is the 4th gen intel i5 or i7 better for games like arma, dayz and bf4? because I've heard mixed opinions of that.

I have found a few computers but all of the ROG computers are 1800-5000 dollars and thats a little out of my price range. I was thinking of the highest package of Alienware X51 but upgrading for a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Can you recommend a desktop?

Can someone answer my questions? Its third from the top.

I have 2 questions... 1. Im going to get a gaming computer and i have 1000-1200 budget for computer OS and everything, but heres the thing, my dad needs my old laptop for my brother when he gets to an age where it will be useful in school and my dad is willing to give me 400 dollars IF i buy a laptop instead of a desktop. Will a 1600 dollar laptop run better than a 1200 dollar desktop because i know laptops suck for gaming. 2. Can anyone recommend the best prebuilt desktop or laptop? Desktop budget 1000-1200, Laptop budget 1400-1600. I want one that can run days mod and arma 2/3 at max or high mixed with medium settings. I want the BEST POSSIBLE prebuilt desktop or laptop again desktop budget 1200, Laptop budget 1600. If I'm being naive can anyone recommend a desktop DIY for 1200 dollars? (Pcpartpicker)

At the end of the cold war, US soldiers were allowed to move through russia, maybe they were there when the zombie outbreak started and all got killed. After all there are military zombies there. Or like the theories before me said, after the cold war america started to sell their guns for profit and who knows, in four years (2018 like daemonkid said) the US could have invaded russia but bio chemical warfare turned them all into zombies except for a few survivors. Or in four years they could have been assisting Ukraine and thats when the zombies struck.

How much did you buy the parts for?
-
Do you have the Alienware X51?
-
I may build my own computer but this is the specs of the prebuilt i want to get... CPU: 4th gen intel core i5 4440 (6MB cache and 3.30 ghz) Monitor: 720p RAM: 8GB dual channel DDR3 1600Mhz GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 Windows 8 And here are the specs of my DIY I want to do http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2IJZl Will the prebuilt run it at high at 25 FPS in cities? If not what FPS? Are the parts of the DIY good? How fast will it run at what settings?
-
I have a budget of 1000-1200 dollars and I want to get a prebuilt to run DayZ at high or max settings. I will not be recording and 20 FPS in cities will be just fine. Im thinking of playing the mod. I know prebuilts aren't the best choice in terms of price:performance ratio but I have very very little knowledge of computers and i don't want to F up the CPU chip air anything so DO NOT SAY JUST BUILD IT YOURSELF! I was looking at the Alienware X51 with: 4th gen intel core i5 4440 8GB DDR3 RAM UPGRADING TO AN AMD Radeon R9 270 No SSD Monitor, 1080p I know the Alienware X51 isn't the best choice but i want to know if it would run it at high settings at about 20 FPS in towns. If not, what is a better computer for $1000 CAN that could do that or better
