1. I assume not all clothes are so easy to tear apart. 2. try simple shirts and hoodies 3. Good question. I guess it's for "fixing" low damaged guns, Waiting for a response too 4. Pitchfork, Axe. If you aim to the head it's pretty damn good 5. Airlines and military bases. People camp there for loot in high pop server and because these are the best places to get some fine military loot, There are more people well equipped and very unfriendly there. Also points of interest in big town. Basiclly, wherever you feel it might be pretty interesting and worthwhile to loot.

I just lost connection on a server and I'm being punished for that and must wait 250 seconds. I don't get it.

My say on this, is that your KoS playstyle ruins every chance of proper banditary. Not to mention the fact that if you kill just because you like the know they are starting from scratch, that's neither of these playstyles, it's just being an ass. Real banditary can come In a veriaty of ways. You can team up with the right group and get them mugged at the right time. You can simply rob people and use their naked living corpse as a bait and you can do tons of other things. Nowdays you can't do anything. This game currently has 2 play styles: When you see someone- 1. kill. 2. Don't kills, shoo them away. You people have to start working on your imagination and originality real quick.

Why is everyone an A$$hole when playing dayz?
RanST replied to TranquilityEden's topic in General Discussion
before you go in game, Do some reading about KoS and the approaches to that. Many of the players are just afraid to lose what they have. If you read into an actual helping group you will see that some players are not just bandits, but they have their rules of engagement. Other players just don't and they are looking for someone to kill. Try to be susupicious aswell, -
They say you poop when you die. So If the zombies will be attracted to the smell bandits will think twice before killing. Anyway, I voted no. From a pov of a new player, I don't need more elements of survival. Looking for food and drinks without being shot by players and killed by zombies is hard enough.

Looking to build a PC that can play this game great
RanST replied to ImReadyD151's topic in Technology/Programming
this is my newly bought pc. The game is optimised with "nvidia experiance" software and the game runs great on the max: intel i7 4770 nvidia 760gtx 8gb of ram I guess the rest doesn't really matters. The price of the computer is pretty fair -
I didn't experiance much but here is what I got: I spawn in a coast with nothing but my clothes and a flashlight (I can't even make it to the night so that flashlight means nothing for me atm). I go through 3-4 houses in each town I get to, all the them are completely empty of any food/drinks or weapons. If there are zombies already they are in large groups (one finds you, the others are sure to follow) and your fists does no damage whatsoever, even when I got a crowbar it took my so long to kill the zombie that I died few minutes later. I get the alpha thing so I don't complain about the fact they are running around you and can hit you from a huge distance, but seriously, I wouldn't wanna get hit by the end of a crowbar, and I'll probably won't be able to run around my foe and hit him again and again. We're past that. found a nice spot, suddenly a player came, dressed up well, probably not a zombie. He just stood there and did nothing. Than another one came and shot us both. Absolutely zero communication.. also pretty surprising. So even though I get the idea of going around and exploring (which is what I do. between one comment and another I'm in game) I can't deal with any zombie and yet I am required to deal with them In order to get gear that will help me deal with them. That's pretty much an endless cycle of remaining a loser.

This time I managed to find a large town. Unfortunately there are many zombies there where ever you go. and unarmed you can only take out one, and even when you do you need medical care afterwards
-
So. I got the game, haven't ran into bugs yet. In the description it says people team up, some group play or maybe pvp. It says you can do great things, but here's my experiance. I spawn at the coast, run around trying to find anything or anyone. The first town i ran into is completely empty from either players, zombies or even food or drink. There's nothing. Now, I don't know how large this map is and I assume it's pretty large, therefore I must ask where is everyone going to, because I'm probably running in the wrong direction. Any help on how to get started?
