Tie Bandanas around arms for easy team spotting
BaldingBadger replied to slipperyminx's topic in Suggestions
I really like this idea, it will get easier to identify your teammates and it will be easier to spot when a team moves into towns, woods and other areas where they can hide. If you se a guy/gal wearing a bandana around his/her arm you can assume that it's a bigger group and adapt to that. You can also just slap a bandana onto your arm and trick people into thinking that you're a part of a bigger group and that might scare away bandits. It just add another way to do things, if you think it's stupid, don't do it. I know it have been done during military exercises to create two diffrent sides without having to use two diffrent uniforms, it's commonly used by airsofters and paintballers where every uniform in the world is used. The trick is to use it your arm that grips the rifle because when you're aiming, the bandana will behind the rifle and only the guys behind and to your right will see the bandana. Your should have a color that stands out from your uniform because otherwise, what's the point? You should be able to adjust the brightness with the condition of the bandana. A pristine would be bright while a badly damaged would be in a darker tone. In real life you take a brightly colored bandana and smudge it with dirt so it won't stand out to much. From a Swedish soldiers handbook, early 90s. It's used to identify friend from foe in urban terrain. -
First off, great video! I liked the music aswell. I just love sporter kills, it makes me all moist in my special places.

I keep one more as a give away weapon to respawned friends who's going to act as scouts since it can be carried unnoticed. People tend to be friendlier and less scared to unarmed freshies so they let them loot in peace and while the fully geared guys wait as a QRU if they run into bandits or other not-tax-paying-long-haired-evil-doing-clown-mask-wearing-baddies.

I'va had similar experiences, i've even been shot in the head by a M4 and survived. My beret did'nt though. It seems that the M4 relies to much on the condition of the attachments and the condition of the target (Freshspawn or bandit, i'm not judging), just too many factors. The SKS relies more on actually hitting the other guy, 2 rounds seems to do the trick anytime. But i still prefer the M4 because of the higher rate of fire and ability to supress the other guy. I always run for cover when bullets start to whizz around my poor little beret and most people do, making it well suited for fire and movement. I would say, M4 if you're in a team and SKS if you're doing the lone wolf thing. But this is just my opinion, i don't have any facts.
