I think it will add a sense of awareness to players and would hopefully stop campers. Maybe if they attacked the player then they might grab onto your arm and drag you to the floor. Fear is a great weapon in dayz.

Adding a temperature system would make the game a lot more realistic. WAIT THERE IS MORE!!!!!!! Coats and clothes could also have an effect so when in hotter weather, you can overheat with a coat on, but in snow or rain, small clothes and t-shirts don't warm you up so you could freeze to death. It would be displayed as a 'thought' message like "I feel hungry" to say I feel cold/freezing or sweating/it is scorching. This can be given a more accurate reading if you find a thermometer which will constantly show your body heat to tell you if you're too hot or cold. As in real life, your default body temperature should be about 38 degrees Centigrade or around 97 degrees Fahrenheit.
