Like hackers and Elektro snipers, abusive admins have become a lot more common. I've noticed a steady rise in servers that kick people other then the 4 or 5 people that are playing at the time. And other servers use very low set ping kickers or so it seems in any case. The amount of topics on the forum stating people were kicked after shooting someone is rising pretty exponentially aswell. I know rocket and his team are hard at work but they might want to nip this in the butt before it goes bad.

The hunting knife, hatchet and matches are all pretty easy to obtain. You can happen onto the knife and hatchet pretty much everywhere but the matches mainly spawn inside supermarkets and on occasion also in regular house but this is pretty rare. Next bit is killing an animal, they are pretty plenty out in the field and forests since the last two patches. Gut it, chop some firewood while standing in a large stretch of forest.( wont work otherwise) Right click the matches to create a fireplace, then face said fireplace and scroll middle mouse to light fire and done. Now the cook meat option comes up and there you go. 800 blood recovered with every cooked meat eaten! If you are hunting for items make sure your health does not drop below 9000 blood, below that every zombie hit, especially the ones from behind have a large chance to knock you out for a bit.

I can imagine you being bored, i'm not sure starting over would fix this for you. Especially if you still have a large camp to reequip from. You might want to consider just taking a break for a while untill further content is added. Im pretty sure Rocket knows that the endgame atm is a bit lacking. Especially with helicopters out of the picture which was always a great aspiring to goal.

The game can be (or is?) frustrating at the start. Seeing your problems i think you would be best off teaming up with someone. There are plenty of friendly people on the forum you only have to put in a little effort to reach out for them. But i quite agree the zombies are completely wack at the moment, i've been running around zombies for a while these last couple of days scavenging vehicle parts and happening onto various crash sites in the progress and the zombies seem to once again have very keen eye sight. They agro from across a hill and just start running, this is obviously perfect because they line up nicely for a shot in the face. I even extend the courtesy sometimes to let them get close enough for a face full off pellets. Just be very very carefull crawling around, if you are not very experienced yet with the way of the infected then consider crawling whenever you are in a town with zombies close by, crouch running doesnt do the trick at the moment. The last advice i can give you is to look for a server that still has sidechat enabled, most servers i stumble across that have this active tend to be much more friendly then the ones that dont.

Its once again a choice you make. Do you go into Cherno or Elektro and get easy and quick supplies (well sometimes anyway) but with a high risk of getting shot. These days its even more dangerous with the snipers camping it sometimes. Or do you walk the distance and go north, picking up supplies along the way. Best to look for a general route you make when you are freshly spawned and follow it every time untill you are decently equipped and able to make some new goals. Which route to take you will have to figure out on your own, my general experience is that following someones elses path is by far not as fun as making your own.

Its a glitch that can happen when a vehicle explodes, ive seen it when a heli crashed. Set the town and the area around it on fire. The fire is harmless though but i can mess with zombie spawns and loot for some reason.

Is the Bizon SD really that rare? I find the damn thing pretty much whereever i go. I still hope the trading post idea works out, im fine with player driven events but not with any special trade or pve servers. Hoping to attend one in the near future, just dont look at the heartbeat, ive been alive for a pretty long time and a lot of stuff has happened since.

I agree wholeheartedly that the current patch is a bit broken item wise. For the rest i can only assume you have been playing a lot of DayZ lately. Take a break mate, play something else for a while. Every game becomes boring after so many hours of play. I noticed the same for me aswell, as a veteran i have no problems getting good gear. I know where to look and where to go and it becomes a little dull. The initial thrill has passed, everything that can be seen has been seen. So unless you are willing to invest your time in something special the game will become as dull as dust. Take a look at Dr wasteland, he leads a pretty exciting life and he is clearly a veteran player. Think of doing something special, organise an event or something. Or take a break untill stuff gets fixed and new content added. I'll give you a start, i've hidding an atv somewhere on a server and its filled with the best weapons and gear that can be gotten ingame. But its bear trapped from all sides, happy hunting?

Damn shame it went bad, im really really disappointed that whoever attacked you did not just attack but actually went so far as to use an exploit to assault you. That's so goddamn pussy play, i hope the dev team looks into it and bans their asses. If they had simply assaulted without exploit use i prolly would have said well executed but this is just plain bad. Next time don't make it as public, ask people to sign up on your forums and wait for a message something to make them do a little effort. 90% of the bandits will already have given up.

If its an old clan then its pretty possible they still have a helicopter. They stopped the spawning of them but they did not remove them from the game so people who had one from before and did not lose it so far will still be able to fly them. I believe you if you say that the clan kicked your buddy out but unless you have screenshots to back it up they wont take action.

Both are great, i usually last longer with the remington myself. Watch your back in the fire station...

Nice, you are already getting upset by getting killed after spawning. Let me guess, you either go to Balota airfield, Cherno or Elektro? Well good loot means equal risk so you will get shot at. Be glad you dont have anything to lose yet! Don't give up, and if it really annoys you. Find a barn, find an enfield and return to the city and go on a blood craze. And then start over!

You did install all the newest drivers etc right? If you just installed windows and left it at that then yes i would probably run pretty badly.

No its not a mechanic against server hopping, there is a detection field around your char. Its pretty big and it spawns the zombies for example. It also 'activates' the loot. So if you server hop and land right on top of the loot it didnt get a chance to activate. Run off for around 180 meters and run back, loot should spawn now. Also i wouldnt call server hopping cheating, it doesnt get you banned in the first place. It is frowned upon by people who are annoyed by it. No rules in DayZ so far. Except for the hackers, they can burn in righteous fire..

Depends on what you want to achieve, most things can already be achieved with 2 people or more. Large groups would not have a viable goal at this time. The best way to find your answer i personally think would be to join a couple of groups trough the forums, run with them for a while and you should get a general idea of what you could accomplish. They should add a timer to spawning, live with the location you spawned in.

Hehe. Yes a lot of servers are desynced, dont know why but its not as bad as it was earlier in the week. Havent lost a gun in a couple of days.

If you had done a little research you would have known stary to be a sniper deathtrap. You took a risk going there and it went pear shape. Bad luck, people alt f4ing is annoying but get used to it untill its patched out. The loot is pretty great though over there, next time join a low pop server and try again. There isnt always someone there, but the higher pop server the bigger the chance. Ofcourse even on low pop there is always a chance... Choices choices!

Ive had it once when i was walking around at night, my temp dropped pretty low and my char just started coughing. Scared the bejezus out of me and i hopped to a sunny server to warm up. Thankfully the disease did not port over to the other server. When i was watching a life stream one of the streamers buddy got sick after being hit while bleeding and he started to lose 30 blood a second so i guess it can be deadly after a while. Chance of you getting it ingame? Almost impossible. After three months of playing i had it just that one time and thats it.
