I sprint at them without a worry in the world and then proceed to punch them or axe them.

I logged in one day after going grocery shopping and I hear two men singing into the mic in faux-woman voices. It was quite entertaining, especially since this game is usually very quite and, IMO, boring when you are not having any human contact. I spoke back to them in my lispy, faux-woman voice. "Hey big booooooooooooooooooooyths, you want tthsome sugar from the sugar plum fairy?" They laughed and started to make high-pitched moaning noises and of course I responded in the same way. After doing this for about a minute, I start eating a can of tuna. I notice that they are not making any noise on the mic now. I walk out of the room and instantly I start getting punched and I hear this shrieking "AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" from the mic. I turn to my right and there one of them is, trying to knock me out. It didn't work because I had a moto helmet on (I always wear them). I spammed 3-4 shots from my sks into his groin/stomach and he died. I start to loot his body and then I start to get punched again by who I can only assume was the other guy on the mic. I spammed another 3-4 rounds into his groin/stomach and ran out of there with a trail of turds behind me.

I searched the forums for something on this in the stand alone and found nothing. I opted for the beta like 20 minutes ago and now I cannot connect to any server. I opted out and am waiting for the game to update. Is there a fix for this?

No I am not. Thank you Preach. Only one server would show up so yeah back to normal.

Weapons need to spawn with atleast 1 magazine in them.

I don't see why the magazine for a 22 rifle would spawn as military loot. It makes no sense and is unbalanced. Nobody uses that weapon purely for this reason. -

To the nay sayers: it happens on subtle inclines too with or without a lot of gear. It happens on stair cases in your nickers and nothing else ffs. It is quite unrealistic atm.

Gibonez, I have no doubt that KoS will live on even after this game is fully developed. Hostile players should be a very big threat to you. Zombies should be too though. If you need to band with/ not shoot at people to survive AT TIMES, I am sure KoS would decrease. No sense in shooting some one who poses no threat to you when it will almost certainly cause your own death by attracting a large amount of lethal zeds right to you.

Gibonez I desperately want to see what you are talking about lol. If it is a video explaining realistic bullet physics and how to hide muzzle flash and the glint of your scope, then I agree, no point to thermal IF we get binoculars

I think from a lore stand point they would be fine. Make them rare military loot. It is not unbelievable in the slightest bit that a government funded military in eastern Europe would have access to such technology. M4's in the game make much less sense honestly. I don't think you would come across an American made assault rifle in a probably former ussr country very often in military barracks, if ever. From a game play stand point, I think it would be great. Make it so they can't zoom in so it wouldn't favor snipers. Snipers could spot other players with them, but they could also be spotted with them. Atm, mosin snipers hiding in the woods pwns all.

I agree that there is nothing to do in the game and I think bases are gonna be a great addition, but I think zombies are what the devs should be paying attention to the most. The zombies atm are a joke, yet this is a zombie game. That is a very bug issue. -
I agree with Muffins. To make them an attatchment for weapons would make there be little incentive for anything else. I think it would be great though if we could use it to spy/spot players with.

I agree. The Zeds need to be a threat in this game. There needs to be INCENTIVE to work together with randoms/groups/clans at times. Otherwise this game will always lack depth. There will never be anything to do except kill each other. It will just be very large scale battlefield clone with clunky controls and survival elements.

I think it would be an amazing addition. Would make sniping less viable. Atm, I think sniping overpowers other combat styles.

KoS does not need to be stopped! It just needs to not be the only option and sometimes it needs to be a detriment to your own survival! If zeds were much more lethal, if they were found in large numbers in big towns and where the good loot was found, and if they roamed around, there would be ahuge incentive for people to band together. And I don't just mean two people who know each other out of the game playing together in TS. I mean randoms banding together because SOMETIMES it is the best option available.

I can almost guarantee that large amounts of lethal and wandering zeds will REDUCE KoS. I don't see how bases would at all. A common obstacle for people to overcome is what this game really needs. For the record, I have no problems with KoS AT ALL. atm though it is one of the only things to do in the game. That is a problem but I have faith in the devs.

sks seems to have high damage and a very respectable rate of fire. I have yet to have it fail me from point blank to medium range. Does fine without any attachments too. I have yet to fight more than two people at once with it though. I would imagine the higher RoF and capacity of the m4 would do better in a situation where you unexpectedly encountered 3 or more people at close range. The sks is, imo, surprisingly good at close range though.
