Just make it so we can drag and hide bodies. If you're near a body of water or very thick foliage, does the same thing. Also if loot doesn't respawn then it keeps most of the items on the map, one way or another. Also with dragging bodies, make it so we can hide them in cupboards and wardrobes, hitman style. I want to have a house with bodies in the cupboards, under the beds, in the closets, everywhere.

Maybe when vehicles are implemented, but to walk from one side of the map to the other, no thanks.

How does it make sense? Everyone owns at least one backpack in there house, more than likely 3+ or more if they have kids.

I can't even, just the stupidity displayed here, it's overwhelming. So now some fuck can camp near the spawns, and kill fresh spawns. Woo-Hoo man, great fucking idea. After being killed yesterday I decided to play Dayz, I spawned near someone else and they got frightened from me appearing behind them so they killed me, yay, i guess I'll log on tomorrow to see if I can do better. Guys we have a thinker, oh wait. -
It would be awesome if you could mark where you buried your stuff on a map. Imagine robbing someone (not killing them as soon as you see them because your a different type of asshole), following to dots to the X and finding and ending up swimming in beans and ammo. Then you could make 20+ maps that all lead to the same location that has the holy grail of loot and giving a map to everyone you come across.

Addressing the Weapon Calibers - Compromises and Proposal

Honestly I believe ammo should drop as it is now, but have the guns use the ammo they use in real life. Have switchable barrels and bolts to make 1 gun take 2 types if you can the right barrel. Also add all the variants of the one gun, so have a 9x19, a 9x18 and a .45 acp (not sure if such a gun exists, not to good with guns) that way you come across a gun that's worse than the one you have but it' the only one you have bullets for. Plus if you met a player who has bullets for your gun and you have bullets for their gun you could trade. That's just what I think anyway. -
While this idea works in theory, what about all those assholes who just snipe people who just spawned? Imagine just spawning, dying, 10 minutes later spawning, dying in a minute, etc. I say no.

Oh you don't like them? You're right, the devs should just do whatever you want because obviously the game revolves around what you like and don't like.

The spawn directs you towards parts of the game that the devs need feedback on.

Well after you read it once you already know how to do it. How about you can read it if you want but you can just make your character read it if you don't want to. Make it so using an IV cannot be used until you find the book, and should be reset every time you die. So when you re-spawn one of the first places you will head is the library to unlock some essential survival skills.

On the subject of weapons which could result in one hit kills and loss of a weapon. screw drivers, sharpened piece of metal/wood, chisel, etc

I believe that if you have enough of it, it can cause hallucinogenic effects. Although you need to have quite a bit. As for the OP, how will this be implemented? Sit there for 5 months waiting for your one plant to grow? How about looting a bag of it in a house or police station. Maybe weed=slow walk speed, character randomly giggles attracting Zeds and players alike and you're hunger gets increased by 100%

Slight bump. Sorry I just came back. Maybe you come across a factory or something and find a bag of primers and shells. Then if you have no alternative you make your own.

People would find ways to use it for fun. How about having 2 people given a half a bottle of vodka each then make them have a wild west style shootout. Winner gets 20 bullets.

well isn't this a clusterfuck? I'd like to remind everyone, this game is in the aftermath of an apocalypse. The guns you find are going to more than likely be old (no-ne makes guns like these anymore, well used (you know, from shooting a ton of Zeds while you lived and would more than likely have been dropped it's far share of times. Maybe they could add a few more features to guns that affect what goes on with them such as -Rusty barrel- -40%hit chance and +8% bullet spread -Dropped sights- The sights don't align, the gun was probably dropped on them etc. Have just about all the guns you find have at least 2 of these types of things, with it being rare with only 1 and 1 of a kind with none. -
I reckon if you shoot a few high caliber bullets inside your character should go completely deaf for the rest of his life.

While I believe this would be an awesome idea, all I can see is swear words, insults and penises everywhere.

So imagine in an apocalypse, people would be trying to make their own stuff that they believe is better and some of it would be terrible ideas. I would like to see maybe 20 or so crafting recipes that don't work but to the person who is not educated on the topic they may think it will work. Some ideas could be -that binocular cut in half and taped on gun for a scope idea -A shard of glass with a red paint dot on it taped to gun (saw it in the same thread) -Diamond/ruby/some other gem taped over a flashlight (dead rising reference) -rubbing alcohol+fruit=wine -freshly killed animal skin+scissors=some monstrosity of clothing that is rotting and every 10 minutes you have a 60% chance of getting an infection And I'm out, you guys add some.

He can still say he doesn't like them, that's like saying because dayz have infected that can walk through walls (for now) already you can't say you don't like them.
