Or tie a rope around his left arm and attach the other end to a car, have a friend do the same with his right side and drive in opposite directions. Split him down the middle.

Nice idea, but maybe it's to much on the servers. Could the servers handle a lot (everyone would want one) of these flying/running around and the AI and all that?

OK so night is pretty hard apparently (I don't own the game so sorry if I'm incorrect). People are saying it's nearly pitch black and all that jazz so why don't we have adjusting vision at night. When you come from a bright light source to darkness it should be pitch black, can't even see you hand in front of your face. After maybe 2 minutes you can start to make out outlines of objects such as trees, cars, buildings etc. After 5 minutes it should be a bit better then finally at 10 minutes you should be able to make out outlines of most things such as players, the ground (different darkness for sky vs ground), most loot, players, etc. If having a bright light shined in your eyes then it should go back to pitch black all over again. This would mean having a torch shined in your eyes for a second would have you go back to pitch black. Maybe strobe lights could be added just to really screw you up. Also how about pirate patches and stuff, so if you take the patch off one eye and put it on the other you can see well out of the eye that was under the patch at night.

Well that's what pirate patches are/were made for.

Or tape some rags in there mouth for a better, more effective gag.

Actually, I would like to have a bunch of stupid things that will never work to craft. Think about it, in a zombie apocalypse a lot of people would be trying to craft stupid things like this. I think it would be cool if there were 10 or so weapons/gear/clothing that kind of makes sense to those not educated about it but were never destined to work.
-
I don't know if this has been suggested, I searched but didn't find anything. I believe that when a player dies, any zombies that stumble across him should feed on him/her. That would mean that finding a dead body would pose a big challenge to get his stuff if there are lots of zombies. Also the gear and weapons on the player should be ruined or completely destroyed. Also maybe zombies could be distracted by a dead body, so you could shoot your friend so you can escape from a bunch of Z's that are approaching, just for lols.

OK, you asked were I wanted you to shoot me? Sounded like a pommy or kiwi trying to get back at us for being better than them at just about everything :P
-
I'm going to imagine you're a kiwi or pommie. Really, never played the mod but that's pretty cool. Well apparently.

Or even better, have it with each individual gun. Just because you have reloaded 1 pistol doesn't mean you have reloaded them all, same with accuracy and everything. Would make people think a bit before just ditching the gun they have used for the last hour. How about attack speed with melee weapons increased after a bit?
-
That is really really screwed up. I love it.

I want sprint at a sniper nest erratically with my finger up.

Haven't the team said that they are working on ways to add more Zeds into the game? Also from what I hear about the Z's being OP maybe they want to fix the zombies before flooding people with ghost zombies. I think civilian pistols should be uncommon, civilian shot guns and hunting rifles to be rarish uncommon, civilian automatics being rare and any army guns being very rare.

Rain, broken bones, zombies, 12 year olds, suicide, communication, melee weapons etc

80% chance of breaking legs from 6 meters and up? So I can fall off a cliff and have a chance not to break a single bone? Your totally right, that makes sooo much sense. You said you don't want 12vies on here thinking it's Call Of Duty's next installment, then you ask for faster health regeneration, more food (or less rotten food) and rain that doesn't do anything to you other than make the ground look wet? Good thinking 99. Also how boring would it be if you were put into a server of only nice people and you had to play with those type of people for the whole time you play the game, same with just playing with bandits forever. There is just so much stupid here, I feel unsafe and fragile knowing these people exist, I'm scared. -
Well if the clothes were washed far enough inland and left there for long enough... probably would be dry.

Say that in Brazilian for me... yeah, thought so. So fuck off.

Yes but this is about anger, what anothercynicalbrit was talking about was snake getting jittery from the withdrawal of the addiction.

I don't know, some guy could go into a city and disable ever single weapon making him undefeatable. I mean it's hard enough finding a gun, then finding out some dick disabled it, well yeah. If this was going to happen then gun parts would have to be relatively common. Personally I find the idea OP though.

On the subject of car wrecks, I believe they should be able to be moved by vehicles. You could have makeshift rams to fit onto cars to reduce damage taken by moving wreckages or even tow trucks to pull wreckages away. Also on the subject of car wreckages, when a player breaks his vehicle make the car stay where it broke. It would also be nice to have some spectacular wreckages around the map. Maybe have a 10 car pile up that blocks all the lanes of the road, a truck that's lost control and gone through the walls of a house or even a car that has become sandwiched between 2 trucks. Have these type of things appear randomly on different servers and at different locations.

I swear I don't have a gun, please don't shoot, come on. I'm just happy to see you, it gets lonely around here.

I think it would be good to have hidden holsters with a gun in them. You could run around pretending to be a new spawn and when some dick tries to kill you, BANG. If there were concealed holsters I believe if you aren't wearing baggy clothes you should be able to see a bump in the clothes though, maybe just small but still there so people can know if you are hiding something.
-
If you could find parachutes you would have to check them thoroughly before jumping. Maybe your character goes through a 1.5 minute animation of unpacking, checking and re packing the parachute. I don't think it would be safe to use some parachute you found on the ground in the apocalypse.
-
It would be nice to be able to find broken watches that show the wrong time and you should also be able to change the time on the watch (if it's working properly). I'd probably just put the wrong times on all the watches I find then just leave them on the ground for someone else to find just to annoy/confuse them.

If this made it into the game there should still be items found in buildings. Maybe the survivors ran out of space, and left that gun/food/ammo there because they couldn't carry it. Or even they stockpiled there stuff in that house before the house had been raided and only a few items remain. And if dead bodies were in the game I want to find mini stories so you can work out how they died or why they died. Maybe there is a dead zombie child laying on the floor of a house and a dead (non zombified) adult sitting in a chair with his brains blown out and and a gun that works no more in his hands. Or maybe you are in the forest and come across a mass grave with a few personal items on the dead in the grave. There could be a house with a busted down door, 7 dead zombies and a dead man with an empty gun in his hand. You can try and work out what happened to these poor souls and come up with mini stories to explain there demise. The amount of fan fics this could cause...

Sorry for the bump guys (if people on here look down on that), but I didn't want to start a new topic when this one had been made. Instead of getting exp from killing to level up or upgrade what stats you have or whatever why don't you get more skill at what you're doing from doing it. So maybe using a certain gun for a x amount of kills increases your accuracy a tiny bit while reloading that gun x amount of times shortens reload time on the weapon by a small percentage. It could apply to most aspects of the game such as searching for berries x amount of times means you have a chance to gain extra berries, breaking out of handcuffs x amount of times means it takes a few less clicks to escape now, etc. Maybe having a job at the start of the game would change stats at the start of the game, but nothing else. So a Soldier might have All firearms accuracy- +1.5% (So he has 1.5% accuracy for all firearms in the game at the start, but as he uses different guns they will split apart) All firearms reload- +3% Speed of running- +2% Foraging for berries- -2% Escaping from handcuffs- -1.5% etc (I couldn't think of anymore, the soldier would have more bad things to even it out, just can't think of any right now)
