  1. Get me a better/quicker/more efficient choice, and I'll gladly use it. Until then, as you will see many other admins say about various topics, I will do what I have to do.
  2. "Friendly" Cogito, While I find it amusing you jumped on this so quickly, as RedHawk stated above, there was a sighting of a speed hacker. With the shitty tools in use for administrators, it is quite hard to catch one when all it says is "<player> killed". I do not know of any ability to see who did the killing (if there is a tool for this, by all means let me know!), and we only see who was killed. The quickest and easiest choice was to lock the server and narrow down the list of potential people. The players left in there just happened to all be clan members of the same clan, and in direct contact with me while I was doing some college homework. I am not a member of their, nor do I show direct favoritism to any particular person. I started letting users trickle back into, and once I had the issue confirmed as solved, the server was unlocked. I even personally apologized to some regulars in private messages as they rejoined in. If you have any issues, by all means, directly contact me. As you can see when you join into the server, and in my signature, my steam information is WIDELY available. I am online and easy to contact. Thank you, Jhuild EDIT: And yes, you can see logs and such, but 4 gigs of log later, there is not a single indication of any of usefulness.
  3. Hey folks, Just a quick question. I have seen how to set the MOTD for a server, but how does one go about putting through periodic messages? IE: something that gets stated every 15-30 minutes mentioning server resets or whatnot. Thanks!
