Hi there everyone, I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing the same problem I have lately... ever since the 0.50 patch has been released on the stable branch my game will just completely crash, randomly and out of nowhere... Does anyone know why? I'm sorry if someone posted something simillar already, but thank you for your help in advance.

I haven't personally experienced this but I have seen it happen... A streamer holding a m4 ran by a new spawn with nothing but his pants, a few seconds after his m4 simply disappeared. He walked back and the exact same newspawn was simply holding it and looking at him. He asked him about it, why he was hacking and what was so fun about it, he never answered... He did drop the m4 tho, and walked away, never saying a word... so you were not the first and most probably won't be the last, unfortunately

Not really necessary anymore since they plan on making persistense universal and not an admin/server choice... unfortunately? fortunately? I guess we'll find out...

Well, yeah, in a way a mercenary usually gets paid to fight for someone else, but I guess being a hero and a mercenary means he'd do it for free, which he did... unfortunately he even ended up paying with his life...

Hi everyone, I thought I'd let you know about what happened to me just a few minutes ago, which made me feel both sad and happy. I was on my way to Cherno to meet a friend who was being chased by 2 bandits, he was a new spawn and they were both armed. As I was running from Elektro to try and save him this one guy was coming on the opposite direction, he was fully geared. We said hi and that we both were friendly and I let him know I was trying to get to Cherno as soon as possible because my friend was being chased by bandits, so I kept running. Instead of simply ignoring me, keep playing by himself or even worse, shooting me on my back, he decided to join me on my quest to save my friend. As soon as we got to the police station in Cherno the 2 bandits were chasing my friend and immediately started shooting at us as soon as they saw we both had guns and were there to kill them. I shot one of them and broke his legs, the other guy started shooting at me and I took cover. As I heard him reload I ran across the street and shot him in the head immediately runnning back to finish the last bandit. After killing both of them I realized my friend was ok but I couldn't find the dude who decided to help. After searching around the building I saw him laying on the floor, dead. He died because he chose to help a complete stranger saving his friend, when he could have simply ignored me or even killed me. He died a hero. It makes me happy to see there's still people like this ''mercenary hero'' who choose to help people instead of killing everyone on sight and I am sure he knew he did the right thing. I hope you read this and know that we accomplished our mission, even tho you died, it was for a good cause. I'm sorry... Maybe one day we'll see each other again.

I believe all of the ''getting wet'' messages in game are simply a bunch of opportunities for you to make some ''that's what she said'' jokes, especially if you're playing with other people... they probably added them just so you don't get as bored when you run city to city...

Unfortunately a lot of people start killing on sight because of things like this... it sucks that happened to you but you shouldn't just start killing on sight too. If everyone who gets killed on sight starts doing it too then eventualy the whole concept of the game will change drastically. Yes it is true that for NOW there's not really that much to do after awhile, but if you stick to trying to talk to people first instead of shooting I'm sure you'll still find some nice people who might even become your friends. I've met people in game on the NE airfield whom I didn't shoot on sight, they've been playing with me for quite a long time now... So, yeah... you might get killed a few more times if you don't kill on sight but it will most probably be worth it in my opinion

Hi there everyone! A lot of you have already shared a lot of things you've experienced but I never did, so I thought I'd tell you about this interesting and rather peculiar thing that happened to me today. As I walked along the coast with a friend looking for loot and people to help I stumbled upon a new spawn running from 2 or 3 zombies, he really looked like he was gonna die really soon since he had no way to defend himself so I pulled my gun out and shot the zombies, attracting a few more of course, but nothing I couldn't handle... One of them made me start bleeding and even before I ask the fresh spawn to help me out with some rags while I protect him he starts bandaging me. I offer to give him some food and help but I never got to hear any words from him... maybe he didn't have a mic, I don't know, but he never answered on direct chat either, instead, he kept looking for loot around the town. I decided to leave with my friend and let him loot the town by himself so he could get some stuff. Anyway, my point is, even though I don't know the reason why he never talked to me, it was a pretty good experience, since most of the times fresh spawns will simply try and knock you out even after you help them (something that happened only a few minutes before this). So guys, if you're friendly and have the opportunity to actualy socialize with other friendly people and maybe even make some friends out of it, don't be afraid, communicate and play together.

Exactly! So that's what I should buy then, as the version I want is the standalone one :) Thank you guys! Also good to know there are european servers aswell, really appreciate everyone's help

Hi everyone. So, I've been trying to look for the answers to this questions but I can't seem to find them so I thought I'd just ask... First of all I'd like to know if by buying the game on this website I'll have everything I need to play the game, even though I don't have any previous ARMA games or anything... is this like, the full real game or some kind of mod only? Also, would I be able to play it in Europe? Or play it on an American server from Europe? Thank you in advance, hope someone's able to help me out with this.
