Welp, I accidently set my graphics resolution to the lowest it can go while trying to get my textures to stop focusing in and out (Really hurts the eyes). Now I can't read any of the text on the main menu, and my cursor is freakin huge. I managed to navigate to the resolution settings but I couldn't go any higher than 600 x 400. I've deleted and re-installed the game, deleted the settings / config file / whatever you call it / everything related to DayZ and everytime I reinstall it's still the same. Still... Like this: (There was a screenshot here of a very low res DayZ, but I couldn't take the screenshot with my Prnt Scrn button or any other screenshot tools I happen to have. Trust, its really bad. The entire screen is about the resolution of 4 game shortcuts on a desktop) Anyway, for some reason I can't fix this. Maybe I deleted the wrong file or something, which I probably did, so if someone could give me a run through on how to fix this that would be great.

Update: CERTAINLY SERVER TROLL. Text was white, but after a little bit the message popped up: "I wish Obama wasn't president anymore" and "I think i shit my pants"

Sorry, i'm pretty new to DayZ, and I didn't know better. Can't remember if the text was red or not, but I thought it was white. At least I KNOW the "You are dying of starvation" was certainly in white. No doubts about it, I sat there staring at it for like 45 seconds, switching in and out of my inventory, still seeing that I was "energized".

I was running around looting and decided to log off for a bit, because the server kept disconnecting and it was getting on my nerves. I proned in a house to check my inventory one more time, to see that I had everything there. For the first time, I had a lot of stuff for surviving and I was having fun. Maybe 3 minutes after I logged off, I decided I might as well just play more. I joined a different server (Because I was disconnected from the other one). I joined and instantly got bombarded with messages: "I feel nauseous", I think my leg is broke", and "I'm dying of starvation" (I still had the "Energized" however which is the buff I logged off with). Is this some sort of server scam to kill off your characters or is it some sort of bug or what? Pretty sure I was dying because my vision was blurry and shaking, but I had no bleeding debuffs or anything. I left pretty fast in fear my character would die, after the first time I had actually successfully survived. Can someone help me?

It doesn't say they are in the vicinity. The only thing that i've seen that shows up in my vicinity is rags and ammo, nothing else. I found a baseball bat and a can of food lying together, and I could pick up and drop the bat and pick it up again, but I still couldn't pick up the can of food. So its certain items in certain AREAS I suppose.

Some things I can select/pickup just fine, some things I need to scroll for it to give me the option to pick it up, but some things I just can't pick up at all for some reason. Examples of things: Baseball caps, hardhats, knives (OF ANY KIND), backpacks (Except for small child backpack), and a Payday 2 mask that I found in a warehouse. These are the only things that I have seen that I can't pick up but im sure i'll find more. if anyone can tell me what's happening here, that'd be great, because none of my friends have the same problem. I understand it's in early alpha, but still this is a serious game ruiner. If anyone can help me fix this that'd be great, but if it's because of it being in alpha i'll just try to deal with it.
