How so? By the very simple fact that there were only 120 or so made means you have statistically a much greater chance of finding weapons that have been made in their thousands, so a really I fail to see the comparison.

Original DeLisle carbine is hens teeth to find considering how few were made, I mean 120 or so originally made rare. So, considering that and the fact that there has not been an original De Lisle on the open market (by which I mean auction) in a couple of decades and even then the price was....not cheap, I would really highly doubt that we would suddenly stumble across one in the middle of Eastern Europe. There is however a couple of small companies that make 'De Lisle' type replicas (not exact copies) in small quantities, which start at around $2300

In RL given the option I have worn/still wear my plate carrier and would rather have it than not. Modern plate carriers are not hugely cumbersome, especially if conditioned to them, hell I even wear mine when doing sport sometimes (without any kit on of course). As for the game I see no reason for them not to be added and to have the protective capacity that they should have on a real one. Its an added protection and won't save you from being an idiot, standing there like superman rather than ducking to cover then fire and manoeuvering but it might just take that one bullet.

Hell just add a supressor for either the AKM, AK101 or the AKS74U as they exist anyway

Oh that they are! with a full load out can get well into the 20kgs without patrol or full backpack. Our bullet proofs with neck and sack protection ( jugular and femoral protec) weighed around 15kgs without any kit on.

Ooooh a Norinco M14, is that yours gews? how does it shoot ? whats the build quality like ? as a couple of their firearms are not the best. I have my Norico 1911A1 which is excellent especially after I modded it. Still love my Garand though so don't knock it. M1 Garands were sent to Russia during WWII that much I know, but, as to how many that would have to be looked up.

I would just love to see that ! first I've ever heard of either using the full sized D.E....pal, the only thing that isreal and the US has to do with them is its production. Isreal did issue in limited numbers the 9mm Jericho (which I might add the slides and frames are built by tangfolio) but the majority are pretty much on either glocks, sigs or beretta 92/M9 and a version of the HiPower. As for the US, and I'm sure that there are several former and current US military here that will correct me if I'm wrong but they have a mix of Glocks, HK, Beretta, Kimber, Sigs and 1911s What army would issue its troops with a hand canon that weighs as much as their battle rifle, seriously? plus it doesn't even meet the standard US doctrine requirements. There are also a shed load of gun owners that play this game too, be interesting to see how many own one? and don't be so childish, just because I know virtually no one that owns one doesn't mean that there aren't people that do and if so I hope they are happy with it so that little ditty was pretty pathetic, what are you 12?

.357 revolvers are pretty much everywhere and quite a few police services used or still use .357s though generally with .38s such as the security 6 or police 6 from ruger. The Grizzly was not a hugely popular handgun certainly but the Coonan has quite a bit more of a following. I know a shed load of shooters around the world in different disciplines and yet none of them, except perhaps 1 or 2, own a D.E. in any caliber. Perhaps it must be popular where? 2 kilos of single stack .357mag? I'd rather have a good wheel gun or a Coonan (but same problem it doesnt belong) at half the weight and size with as good or decidely better precision for the sake of 1-3 rounds thanks. For the most part people only want the Desert Eagle because it looks 'cool' and half again wouldn't even know that in came in anything but .50AE which is even heavier and more unweildy. They do the Jericho, which is the baby eagle in 9mm yet no one yaps on about that ? I stand by what I said that it is really not something I would expect to find to any great extent in eastern europe, plus absolutely no military in the world carries it either so no excuse that 'perhaps the nato troops had it'. Therefore it gets a huge resounding no from me. If the extent of your arguement that the caliber only has 2 weapons that use it, then why not bring in the raging bull .223 as it fires the same caliber as the M4? There are a number of firearms that use the .357mag, bolt action rifles, lever action rifles a couple of other semi handguns and of course the good old wheel gun, and, if it rests that there are only 2 weapons that run .357 then so be it.

Been to all three countries, well, the third is not a country in itself officially but an autonomous state and quite a way from Zimbabwe (no need to google). Can't really agrue with that, and, it has to be admitted however much you may feel uncomfortable with it that Zim was much better off when it was Rhodesia as we just have to look at the then and now. I honestly fail to understand the reasoning behind people stating that guns and vehicles would be super rare considering that this game is not based on a post nuclear apocolypse, why? No one has yet come up with a tangible arguement as to why this would be the case. Manufacture may have stopped certainly, but, considering the number of firearms and even more so vehicles in circulation around the world this kind of statement is totally and utterly absurd. What you are attempting to say is that suddenly a vast majority of firearms, munitions and vehicles are suddenly wiped off the face of the earth without a trace correct? I personally own a couple of dozen firearms, munitions for them, reloading equipment and a couple of vehicles both 2 wheel and 4 wheel and, unless hit by a nuclear explosion, I don't to see how weapons and vehicles would be super rare, ammo yes eventually and fuel too along with spare parts but that would be years down the line.

I know someone that did that, as he was getting out of a car (gun in front of pants) 9mm round shot out one nut then into the leg, travelled down the leg and exited the calf. This in itself is bad enough but the guy REALLY should have known better considering what he did and still does for a living. He definitely learnt his lesson the hard way and is far from proud of that idiotic moment.

Yup the AKS-74U would fit nicely into most of the backpacks in game...i hope, as it fits into a day sack quite nicely in RL, folded up and the mag off.

Going price is about 35 depending where and with how much ammo, and, in a certain African country I was based 20 dollars and a tshirt could get someone.....removed.

They are armed with anything and everything a standard military force carries from their country of origin ( very few European or US units are used for UN sanctioned missions these days) ....they just can't use it until its absolute self defence, even then it has to go up through the UN chain of command and all the way back down again. So glad I never had to wear that stupid blue helmet.......

I have an Asus ROG 18" laptop that I use with intel core i7 4700HQ, 32gig of DDR 3, Nvidia GTX 670MX, 2x750gig HDDs 7200rpm. It runs all my games without a problem even on the top settings including WoT and DayZ which are my prefered online games. I looked at Alienware but found them to be hugely overpriced and made by Dell which is also another reason I avoided it. My ROG cost me a hell of a lot less than the Alien for similar performance.
