okay thx guys! Its weird my DayZ is working atm and i didnt install the beta yet! But i will do now!

everyone is talking about the latest beta of ARMA2! If i purchased ARMA on steam i assume the game should be automaticly on the newest Version! Is that right? :/

Aloha, i was thinink about the Day and Night feature of DayZ, if u play in Germany and its dark, it will be dark on the Server,too. So far so good! The thing about playing at Night is imho, that no one wants to play at "night"! What i mean is, what do people do if the server they joined is dark? They Avoid it, lets face it, almost everyone i talked with and everything i read about is the either ... ...change to server in a other Country with light! or ...they put the Gamma and the brightness to the max(which is imho not how it supposed to be played, its kinda...."cheating") Very less people use their flashlight or flares, the basicly dont want to play at night! And here comes my suggestion: ...wouldnt it be cool if day and night change multiply times while iam playing? For example (and thats just a number i didnt thought that through) u have 2 Hours Day and then it will be dark for like...what 30 minutes? And then back to sunshine! Cuz then u would have to hide, or use ur light sources! Cuz u want/cant change the Sever to avoid the dark! Of course u can still bright the shit up with ur gamma, but would keep playing on one server! And it would be scary to see the sun go down, and u would be happy to see they sun rising again! I dont know just a Idea, flame it to death if u dont like it! :D sry for my medium english skills iam German! :/ mfg Prof

Is there a way to put the bullets out of 2 Mag´s and make one fully loaded one? I never played arma2, but there have to be a way to avoid having one bullet in the mag and not able to "reload"!

I like the vegeterian part, maybe u have to find a "tool" first to gather mushrooms or Pumpkins! I was thinking that yesterday after i found pumpkins the first time! :D

Aloha, since the new patch 1.7.1 i dont have sound at all anymore! Is that a known issue? Can i fix that? Or should i wait until a hotfix? the other think is, according to my hud (ear and the eye) i dont even make any sound, if a move there is no lines anymore which say that i make noise or that someone can see me! sry for the bad english but it isnt my first language!

Are u able to run away? Or do they freaking chase me till the end of days?

I dont like the new "no weapon" feature at all, especially in combination with the new, stronger infected! I mean, it can happen soooo easy to accidently attracted one Zombie and if u do so u basicly fucked! Jeah u can run in a House, but as soon as u start running u propably add more Friend to ur Party! I dont see any sense in the change, the games was almost perfect with 1.7.0 , excepted the "through walls infected"! I loved the mod so far, now i just hope everything turns kinda back to the awesome experience i had till few days ago! I wont stop playing, but i wont log in till i hear something new about patch and hotfix! sry for my bad english, it isnt my first language!

Well iam unable to join a server so far, but everything i read here doesnt make me wanna play anymore! I hope that gets fixed, i really thought i found the game i was searching the last couple years! :< I bought ARMA2 just a couple a days ago, only for that! :/

We went yesterday pretty far into the island, we had a shitload of stuff, food and water. And we came into a little village and we accidently engaged one of those "froggers" and we ran out of this little village for like 1 minute,we could barely see the town anymore, before we shoot the fucker and we still had the whole town after us afterwards(7-8 zombies)! And we died, cuz we had only 5 bullets left! So my question is, is there a reason to use and collect rifles? I mean u can only fire them if u in a forest 50 km away from the next town! But there is nooo way to use them in or around a city! But thats the place where all the zombies are! :D Arent they a little toooo loud? :)

Aloha, i would like to have the chance to spawn in at my Friends position! Why? Well if we die or one of us, is the only thing we do for the next 45 minutes searching each other, i actually dont even play in that time, we just run forever along the beaches to find us! And if we found us we start the actually survival again! Maybe i dont see a bigger problem behind this suggestion, but i would to skip spawn at each other part! I know, u would not lose all ur stuff if u spawn back in time to loot your self! But the stuff could just dissapear if someone respawns in at his friend! What u think about that?
