The people think about this before posting or do i am the only stupid to spawn far away after what happened to me? I should stop to think a while before posting, but also others should. Everyone wants to shoot to the Red Cross... I'd like to see 2 kinds of randomness, the first by "TOWN" the second by "POSITION": the system will decide to spawn you in what town first and then the position. And if we want to be even more fair as someone said above, increasing the TIMING between SPAWNING and death. But not to see people costantly spawn in the same place even 5 consecutive times. Am i correct?

Example: Imagine that my team is on Cherno.....and as happened i spawn 5 consecutive times on Cherno and nearby. I'm even more a manace as a Bambi than an equiped player, as i can spot others and nothing to lose. So what's that guy? One that glitching or a randomed giustified guy? Hold your breath a sec, first of all i'm one of those guys that absolutely want to add a login sound to prevent server hoppers on the game. Here i'm discussing about if spawn works properly, it is randomized then i can't spawn on same places dozens of times. Understand? Don't to argue that black is white Then instead of point me the finger, you should try to have some game session on Factory between Nizohie and Solnitchy and you will realize how many people doing mass suicides, there was a time i counted 20 sucides on half an hour. Game can't force players to play where you want if a group is elsewhere! What do i do then? Stand alone because i'm far away? don't give me a moral lesson about what's good and what's not. I bet my mom if you are on group, then you will spawn as close possible to it. 8 out 10 videos on youtube doing this, so moral lesson are only for real life, not for gamers, in particular dayz...where i saw 4 people cloning stuff ON LIVE through a window in a sniping session, the morality of this game is beyond the gates of a graveyard. It's not possible to force players to do what do they dislike, otherwise i quit and go play something else when I die. Things must be done are randomize the spawn through: TOWNS and LOCATION! The system decide for you where to spawn as town and then the location....not all randomized! because the spawn to Mid to South are even more than the others to North! .....And if you kill a guy on North: Merry Chrismas you gonna meet someone else again! I'm dead because of bugged floors 2 consecutive times and i want to team up back again... morality elsewhere please. Morality for cheaters, morality for cloners, morality for server hoppers...not for this shit.

MIRACLE! I spawned on khelm....it's 2 patch and around 30-40 deaths i don't spawn on Khelm! God bless the ranzomization!

sure but it's also the only way to test this things out. It does not completely have any sense to have 2-3 spawn out of Cherno, then 1-2 inside....as same for the other towns! It must be implemented a randomize system that decide for you where to spawn as "town" and then it randomize the "location" ....if it's ALL RANDOM and most of the spawn are middle to south, then you'll never spawn north. Example: i'm on a team, i Die and i want to reach my teammates on north....for sure before being close to the spawn you might waste time on looking for a better respawn and then have a short walk....

Hordes and Vehicles are a priority, but not as much finding a decent coutermeasure for hackers and cheater that using the same invisible hacking since a couple or maibe 3 patches... and a my post has been hidden as i said this but with not that much loudness...off course, who's not after being killed by a cheat that is out since 3 patches?

Ok but then if we do stay here about explaining any dynamic and difference between realism and a game about Dayz, where you character is still moving like a piece of wood...well won't be enough an entire page to type everything. Agree with author of post. It's unbeleivable that when i have large scratches on the trousers and they are horrible looking I can repair them with a sewing kit......while if i get a bullet all the trousers are to throw out...it's just a single hole 2 cm diameter (depends on the caliber). And.....even if i have a knife on the right pocket but i've been shot on the left everything is going ruined.... Such stupid!

me neither....i probably have to do the same as you did . And as i said above the storage had completely mess up and lost some items....Strange nobody partecipate to this discussion and explain if the storage is perfectly working or not. Now i've placed a LRS and a compensator inside....i wanna see tomorrow or later if they are still there

My tent is on official server now, the NL 3-20 with persistence enabled. Once i got back to the tent all things inside were invisible, i had to swap position of an item to see everything . But the inventory had a different positioning than when i left it. Plus some cans of food and drinks had disappeared, also a Gorka jacket, a box of shotgun shells and rags had disappear!....But the Akm mag and some SKS bullet and other kinds of ammos not! I don't think someone had passed, but i found the tent open aswell...I'm sure nobody passed there as it's a quite empty server and there would been better items to pick up, like the sks ammos

From months i'm one of those that is stating about adding a log in sound that can be heard within 15 metres at least. All those players that are against it are server hoppers and combat loggers and counter-productive for the develop and balancing of the game. It's not a discussion about banditry or not! Shoot or not! leveling or not, achievments skills or else.....it's just the good sense and faith to understand someone that is running his efforts to reach a goal, despite those that simply quit, leave and rejoin. Remember that medium-high systems with right graphic settings are able to see accross the walls while log in when inside a building. So it's also some sort of glitch I admit to server hopping. But i'm so straitgh-arrow to do not combat log and i wisely chooose my positions to logout, out from any danger and taking a couple of minutes more walking.

My tent has disappered from the server "DE | Willkommen aus der Apocalypse Percistence Loot" I'm sure someone has not coming there to bring it up, as i placed it on an island, and you can't grab it up and swim.. exept you do have an hunting backpack of a mountain backpack to put i in. I didn't put inside important items, just few ammo, foods and wood sticks to test if storage work. ...But the server one day has shut down for an entire day and once it came up the tent has gone. Even with the stupid items inside. Please there's something clear about if persistence storage is working? Is it working if server restart? And if server shut down for a day and then it coming up next? Anyone can suggest a good European Server that is working and it is safe to place a tent?

I hardly beleive people use in-game maps. i use dayzDB, as i bet other over 2 millions of people that at least one time ever checked it out to understand where to go. I don't mean dayzdb, but at least other sources. Easy to check, can show place to loots and fountains, easier to understand than the ingame topographic map. Everyone used it at least one time....and then even way more times! It is just since a couple of month on 400 hours that i remember quite all the map with point of interests and number of houses to find important loots, foutains etc...I can orienteering myself quite good without map now. So i hardly beleive on who's feign. Nothing personal, it is not a starting for a flame or it's meant to offend someone, just a point of view based on a logical perspective about: "at least i want to know where's a fountain as there's no one i can ask for information before being shot, and i've just i found a piece of map i don't need...and in the meantime i'm starving" Back to topic DAYZDB is the source i'm using....it's pretty well detailed! if it is showed a big coloured dot instead of a small one, it means that there are lot of loots of that kind out there! But keep in mind that if there's nothing, that means that someone has already come over there....so keep an eye open buddy!

it's 3 days i'm not finding an Hacksaw! 3 fu..ing days I'm not finding an Hacksaw on Elektro. Loot percentage of some tools must be increased. I don't know why sometime i'm finding Firefigher axes above some cars and in good status! <_<

I'm not able to find an updated topic where is stated a way to replace files or edit a line to make the game stop crashing to desktop, or at least reducing the numer of times. I don't mean reduce the lagg only by going on Steam Library, DAYZ and right click for Property and chaging the execution of the game with a line. Since 0.49 the numbers of crash increased to me ( this afternoon i had 2 crashed in 10 mins on Elektro as quite empty server), and on youtube I've found videos that shows what files to modify or else. But i'm not really confident on it, because i'm scared for being banned. Anyone found and tryed an useful guide? It is possible to sticky it on the top, lock it and keep it updated? well to be honest i've only found lines to add on steam before execute the game (set number of cores, allocated memory etc etc). About file modification i found only dated stuff that i don't know if will properly work, as i was scared about validation as you mentioned. By the way i'm running: AMD FX 8350 4.0 ghz (octacore) 8 gb ram ATI 7870 2 gb Win 7 ultimate installed on SSD Dayz Installed on regular HD

Everything you said is correct, but i doubt the game will take other directions from "nothing exept PVP". Because this formula we are playing nowadays is working and sold over 2 millions of copy. Changing game dynamics and PVP by adding more PVE that are boring you during PVP fights ( How many times have you been aggroed by a zombie while in a firefight? ) will probably not meet the tastes of part of the community and stops the numbers of sales. Personally as a business man i would not change an actual formula that is working and risking to stop my growing up sales. I'm changing when sales stop or falling down. I'm one of those that would like to have also more PVE and RPG stuff end else...but i don't know the tastes of the others so I speak for myself.

I would like to see Merchant/Trader on game calling players for trades But game won't allow it because i'm 80% sure that a 12 years old kid will not roleplay and shoot you on sight to steal you all. I missed the count about how many i've met on these days by hearing their voices. I would like to carry an hay wagon and trading stuff with people, That's a good meeting point to give the game some interaction between players and not thinking everyone is always a threat. Maibe adding a karma system? That's what i've always asked....

I'm still not understanding why the Shotgun is able to set a zeroing up till 300 (and won't be used over 50 metres distance) and is also capable of Zooming IN and OUT with ironsight....also sawn off version!!! But....the Sporter, that is weaker on damage and need skillshoots when firing is not possible to zoom in and out! Even all handguns can! Why Sporter not? Now that Holding Breath is changed and it's more difficult for shooting over distance. Using the sporter with no zoom is very very difficult to take an accurate shoot because of hold breath changes! Please add a Zoom IN and OUT! This gun Is still not used, i still have to see someone using it on fights, even if spawning location for magazines have changed! I appreciate the effort for changing the spawn location but it is not enough! And... As much we are going ahead and adding more weapons, as less this weapon will be picked up: Imagine when Rossi will be on game, that would be an all round weapon to use in any circumstances. Imagine when on next months when M1 Garand will be avaiable....who the hell will pick up a wepaon with weak damage and no ZOOM for shooting? A P1 is probably better! ASporter Is good for suppressing...but if you can't take the aim over 50 metres you won't be that useful on firefight.... I need 15 diopters to use it.

yesterday on the same server i saw BE kicking 2 cheaters On day number 2 from the release of 0.49 my first death was from an hacker that was flying above my head and teleporting. The current system do not work I get killed on an alpha game? So please, till will be finished i want the steam name of who killed me, then i'm free to report whatever i want. I'm 100% sure that once the Steam name is displayed and we are sure that it was an hacker, we can also check out his inventory on steam and take a look if he is one of those guys that have hundreds of same items that can be won only over years. So then they cheat to get them, sell them and purchase games, And if they get banned from a game they PURCHASE another copy of it and give it as a GIFT to another fake account. Do you know how many of them made this with DOTA 2? By opening "Chests" items with hacked keys and then selling the items inside for free! They got money by cheating, and so then they purchase games over and over and over. That's so easy! Once those guys can be spot then would be awesome to delete out their account! ...And it's so sad that Steam does not check out these guys....
