    5.56 Bolt action rifle (Remington 700)

    Given how popular .223 actually is in bolt rifles for varmint, small deer and foxes, I'd love to see this gun.

Currently, I very rarely see someone use the CR-527 rifle, simply because the magazines are near impossible to find and the weapon is inferior to the SKS, having half the magazine capacity, the lack of the ability to fire semi automatically and the fact that the SKS has a built in rifle magazine. This is a sad reality, because the feeling of a bush rifle would be nice to have in game and it would be nice to see more usage to the gun, rather than just everyone using SKS rifles. So to make the weapon more viable and common to use over the SKS (and the IZH-18 when it comes out) I'd like to suggest that the 5 round magazines be made more common, that the 10 round magazines that are also available for the real life counterpart be implemented into the game and possibly even have a chance to find an empty magazine loaded into the rifle when you find it. Also, would there be any chance of optics being introduced for the rifle such as the Leupold VX3 or something along similar lines?

    It was added in Operation Arrowhead to ARMA 2. Czech soldiers sometimes use it as did PMC. You could get base wooden models or nodded polymer ones with desert camo, reflex sights, ACOG etc.

    I see no playing difference or place for this gun that the AKM hasn't already taken.

    So long as it applies to all single action and manually operated firearms and is mandatory. Pump action, lever action, bolt action and single action like with the Derringer.

    Zombies are part of PVP. They reveal player locations and punish you for being a loud and proud dickhead. Learn to stay quiet.
  7. Ruger LCR as a 9mm revolver? Gives people with 9mm an option without having to need mags but you only have 6 shots and it's not particularly strong.
  8. How about a Sako Tikka T3 in .243? Good Swedish bolt action rifle with the round having high accuracy and a very high velocity round for medium damage (between the amount the M4 and AKM do.) Magazines could be 5 or 10 rounds in size and the rifle would be common in hunting lodges, with the caliber very popular for boars. Alternatively there's the X Bolt from Browning or the Winchester 70 for the round. To make full use of the cartridge's accuracy and high velocity, it should also be compatible with the LRS. Also the Beretta Tomcat or Walther PPK would be a nice alternatives to the Amphibia S - more common (as civilian guns) and powerful but lacks the integral suppressor, accuracy and magazine capacity.

    Attachment Ideas

    Some ideas weapon attachments to add in/add onto certain weapons: Sporter 22: -Should be able to use the same suppressor the M4 does. -Fire Selector: Makes the weapon capable of firing fully automatically or in semi automatic. -Reflex Sight: A modified gunsight with a more open sight picture for easier close quarters aiming. SKS: -Magazine Release: When attached the rifle may use 30 round AKM magazines but cannot load 10 rounds in without mag like before. -Bump Fire stock: When attached the gun will fire in "full auto mode" but the full auto fire will recoil ridiculously hard and slower firing rate than AKs. Steyr AUG: -Top Rail: Can be added in place of the rifle scope, allows M4 sights to be added. -LMG barrel: Makes the gun heavier and longer, but more accurate and stable in full auto. -Carbine barrel: Makes the gun shorter and lighter, but less accurate and recoil harder. -Standard barrel: Makes weapon function as is. -M203: 40mm underbarrel grenade launcher. M4A1: -M16 barrel: Longer but makes gun more accurate. -Colt Commando barrel: Makes gun shorter but less accurate. -M203: 40mm underbarrel grenade launcher. -Tritium Sights: Iron sight attachment, glows in low light conditions. M1911, FNX and CR75: -Laser sight: Attached in place of flashlight, puts a visible red dot on target to assist aiming.

    I've learned to be able to chat people up in friendly manners to lower their guard so I can fuck them over. But as a door knocking salesman by occupation, I already do that in the real world.

    Tents really worth it?

    It would be nice if smaller tents come out, or things like hootchies. Just a piece of canvas tied between two trees with some camp pattern on it and the vapacity to hold one primary with some extra slots would be nice.

    75 round drum mag removed from game

    The first thing I found in a wrecked UAZ was a drum mag with an SKS, fully loaded. Can't complain here!

    I'm digging up drum mags for AKMs out or wrecked UAZs in the middle of Cherno on high pop and loading the rounds into SKS rifles I find there. I love the new loot system. It isn't hard to find water with a canteen on you, and isn't hard to get food (you can go hunting and foraging too remember! Stop looking the same old places you always looked in. Vehicle wrecks are your best friend.

    Persistent Diaries for players to write in.

    I used to write notes on paper to congratulate players who killed me, and would give details about myself, my lifestyle in game, my kill tally of players and so on. It would be nice to have journals where you can store information such as blood type, kill tally, a better description and history of status effects, your tent coordinates etc. Perhaps you could personalize it with squad or player URLs, like you could in ARMA 2 with player name and information.

    Aircraft: Planes

    I would be all for planes if they were small light aircraft like Piper Cherokees. The largest I would support is a C-47 or C-38. Any larger and faster is pointless and would struggle to land. Helicopters would be nice too such as Hueys and MI-17s with door mounted FN MAGs, PKTs or M134s. Good evac aircraft, scouting tools and in large scale firefights air support.

    Cap guns would be nice, if they can resemble guns in the game like thr Magnum or M1911 at a glance. Could be used as a distraction, signal and to scare people if the firing noise resembles the .22s or the M1911.
  20. We currently have chest holsters but to have a pistol in these is clearly visible, and concealable hip holsters are far more common. Can we get a hip holster that attaches to jeans or cargo pants that gives them the ability to have their normal item slots, plus a slot to carry a pistol, with the holster hidden and not able to be visibly seen?

    You can do all of these things with the real guns and find select fire 10/22, external magazine fed SKS rifles etc.

    Correct, invisible pistol holder that you can't see, but just a different item called Jeans/Cargo Pants with pistol holster. There doesn't need to be any visual difference physically looking at the clothing, and the holster and pistol only detected when you examine their inventory.
  23. How about a JM Standard dart rifle? Vladimir Putin was using one with tranquilizer darts to trying capture big cats in Russia in a conservation program here: You could perhaps have it with three dart types - non dosage, tranquilizer and poison tipped. Non dosage tipped darts are incredibly weak and short ranged, but can still do considerable damage if you shoot in the head at very short range. Tranquilizer darts will incapacitate a target within 20-30 seconds of being shot if you hit a body part not protected by armour of some sort and will also kill animals within 15 seconds for hunting. Poison tipped darts (crafted by adding disinfectant or poison berry juice to a non dosage dart) will inflict a victim with chemical poisoning if they aren't wearing armour of some sort. The rifle in performance will be short ranged (20m max) but very quiet and accurate - good for window snipers in streets or hunting without drawing attention, but will degrade one stage with every 3 shots, reducing range and accuracy which obviously can be fixed by using a weapon cleaning kit or air pump (to simulate pumping more CO2 into the gun to shoot with.) It lacks a magazine and must be loaded with a new dart every shot. It can also be a good initimidation gun during hold ups too (because nobody likes chemical poisoning.) The gun isn't very useful for zombies though. Finally like with arrows and bolts darts fired should be able to be picked up from the ground or walls they lodge into, and have a relatively slow trajectory (but faster than crossbow bolts and ashwood bow arrows.

How nice (not really) would it be for 3 zombie hoards to be randomly spawned on the map consisting of 30 zombies in each that wander as a pack around the map on a randomly drawn up waypoint path that chase down players who come near their area and attack? It would be nice to encounter zombies in large numbers by chance outside of major cities and spruce up a boring hiking trip, and give you something to throw your 300 5.56 bullets at. Likewise, with the upcoming introduction of predators, it would be great to see wolves fight and hunt as a pack of 4-6 wolves and bears as a pack of 3. It would make encountering wildlife even scarier and be more realistic to the actual hunting behaviours of these animals, and reward hunters and squads who successfully survive the attack with more meat and pelts to go around.
  25. The flies and corpses in the mod were important parts of the atmosphere and gameplay. A lot of corpses and flies often were a warning that a sniper had his rifle trained on you and it was time to start running for dear life.
