  1. It's not unplayable at all. I hate when people talk like it's a fact or something. New players will die a lot at first.. but they'll get used to it.
  2. There seems to be a lot of discussion about how Zombies "should behave". Listen guys, Zombies are like Vampires in the fictional world.. there's a LOT of different versions and everyone has their own opinions on how they should behave. Instead of trying to convince Rocket of how Zombies should behave, you should just accept that his Zombies are their own breed. He even said in other forum posts that he personal prefers the 28 Days later approach. In 28 days later the zombies were a force to be reckoned with.. fast, strong, good senses.. basically you DO NOT want to be seen by them. Are they dead in this movie? No.. are they dead in DayZ? Maybe? But who cares.. it's just one other version. People are complaining that a zombie should not be able to see you in a field with high grass, crouching from really far away... that's BS. If you're crouching in the tall gras and you can see the zombie.. then chances are if he's looking in your direction he can see you too. Ya, maybe tradional zombies are slow, dumb and may have poor vision.. but these are DayZ zombies and they are hunters. Maybe you should be able to hide better behind trees and such.. but Arma2 engine might be limited.. either way there's lots of ways to escape. I say their current behaviour is fun and a challenge.. I hope it stays. Some tweaking sure, but overall would not like to go back to 1.7.0 behaviour. Also it's an ALPHA.. so lets stop acting so entitled.

I personally won't miss you much, the less "14 years old badasses" around, the happier I am. Sorry if was dead wrong with my age guess. Indeed, sorry I would be, as if you are any older, then it's even worse than I thought. Agreed. You can hide from zombies just fine.. man people are so impatient to adapt to changes. It's not that hard..

    What? First off, I didn't say it that. I simply said I agreed with the overall post. The average gamer is NOT a CoD player. 20% of the market is made up of CoD. The other 80%? Everyone else. The average gamer is not a casual player. I am not a casual player. No one on the this mod is likely to be a casual player. If the complaints and pros are 50/50 when it comes to a game, chances are high you want to change it. I'm not saying return the game back to 1.7, but at least reduce the likelihood of bleeding out or going unconscious. I'm fine with the damage, but bleeding out ever time I get attack sucks. Then there is the fact the zombies run too freaking fast, so fast you don't even hear them till they are right next to you. This game is not suppose to be Demon Souls, it's suppose to be a game where long-term survival is possible, but difficult to achieve. Not impossible. Rocket has stated he would love to promote community building, but it's nearly impossible with this new patch. I shudder to think what it would be like to try and move a group of people around zombies at the NW airfield. Nearly impossible. Tell you what, what are the good things about this update? Everyone that says this update is great doesn't have very many reasons. So bring them up people. I'm sure all of us "whinners" would love to tell you what we think of your ideas, since you seem to not present them. Not even close to impossible. Stop shouting statements like they're facts.. they're only your opinion. I don't feel it's difficult to survive at all.. and FAR from "nearly impossible". Those who constantly die with the changes are just impatient.. thats all. So far I only died once and quickly learned my lesson. It's easy to get away from the zeds now and the few bugs have already been identified. We don't need to state tons of good reasons.. all of the reasons it was good before are still there. The few changes that make it great now are the zeds behaviour, line-of-site, no starting weapon etc.. few bugs sure but it's alpha. Stop speaking like everyone agrees with you.. From what I've been reading it's pretty split down the middle on who does and doesn't love the changes. Give it a chance and time.. he doesn't have to please everyone with every change. Go play it or don't.. and see how it evolves as we go. I'm sure Rocket is going to monitor feedback very closely. IN the meantime, I love the changes.. some agree some don't. It's not like I'm entitled to the exact game I want and neither is anyone else. Just play the game or don't.

    I fear if changes are made they will be in the wrong areas (again). Keep the lack of weapons etc but revert back to being able to succesfully navigate around zombies by crouching/prone - Zeds are theoretically impaired from a virus so lets pretend it also effects hearing and sight (auditory & visual hallucinations) its feasable to me therefore there was no need to boost view distance' date=' I assume it was only view distance but i've a feeling something else has changed as well. So what if they can see you from farther and have better senses? You can hide.. it's easy. Run in any building or around one and they will lose track of you. I find that now you have to plot your movements rather then just crawl past everything. This is more realistic.. harder feels more realistic. I now truly feel like I'm playing in survival horror. Opposed to before where it was just crawl, crawl, get up and run into a building.. shoot zombies. It's now way more unpredictable. People actually have to worry about the zombies, instead of just the players. Big fan of the changes. Can't wait for FPS issue to be fixed.

    Love the new changes, aside from the FPS issue.. but that's been identified already. :) The game feels way more intense now and a lot more about true survival. The zombies are insane, but i like that i can get away even without shooting now. Great changes. Also props for fixing vehicles.. I found a working tractor last night, was super fun.. until I love taped a tree and it exploded hahaha.

    Please explain how that image results in a false-positive ban. It is telling server admins to ignore a record in their logs indicating a GameHack. Server owners do not contributed to BattlEye bans. Again: Please explain how that image results in a false-positive ban. Man you're the most active Dev of any game I've ever played on the forums. I don't know where you're getting your patience from with this.. I really hope you don't crack and stop working on the game. I've been browsing forums for months here and this is the first time I've felt compelled to make an account and post (sorry, lazy). No one seems to appreciate the work you guys are doing. Anyway.. BattlEye works like VAC.. pretty obvious. It's also obvious some people are making an effort to not understand a thing you say. You even come here and ask them to prove or explain exactly what they mean.. and then silence. I wouldn't be able to put up with this forever.
