My moment was at NEAF. I had an axe and the military backpack(30 slot) with all I ever needed on me (bandages sticks can opener food canteen rags etc). I run into the building, keeping mind it's a low population server, maybe 5 people on it atm, and as I walk in to the control tower a guy comes down the stairs swinging his fireaxe. He just missed and I back off saying "Whoah friendly!" He is super cautious and says he doesn't want to fight he just wants to live and move along. Being eager to trade materials with someone for once, I convince him it's worth his time. We become friendly and he gives me a syringe, I give him a compass. As were about to take turns testing blood types, I hear him yell "oOO Sshiii---!!!" Someone coming from behind me lights him up with a m4 and starts spraying wildly at me. I see this kid drop and I run into the control tower yelling "oh WTF!" I get into a corner and,cowardly, disconnect. In hindsight, I should have stayed in,but this was the first time a good interaction happened, and it ended so tragically. I assume The kid was targeted first because he had the mosin on his back; This kid just wanted to be left alone and I convinced to interact. He Paid with his life..

I would love a feature that organizes the server list by last connect. Reason? I had all the gear i wanted and was so happy. After a few experiences with other players, and me being a lone wolf, I decided to leave my gear by a tree outside of town before I go in to loot so I don't lose it. Unfortunately, my internet crashed and I forgot the name of the server (I try to stay in low population servers) so I desperately tried going through the history tab but could not find the one I was at. Plus, this feature would just really be a nice non-critical addition. =)

Def agree it being lame. Still new and too busy to grind out the hours. Eventually I'll find a home server. Gotta say anytime I hear another player I don't trust them and immediately get out for a different server. Died enough times. I think I'll just kos instead lol. edit: I dont do it for mil.gear. Tried it once as a noob got killed asap. not doing that again. I stick to a small part of the map. really trying to learn everything a step at a time.

At first I thought it was a good idea, but I will go with Grapefruit kush's idea. More sweets but no major negative effects lie toothache.. bit too far.

Use weapons and just keep moving. Sometimes I have 2 zeds on me while im looting and I just keep yankin and bankin. Otherwise I have to run out of town with them on me and do a huge circle to get them off. Tis the way of the world. "I know I am going to get the 'it's alpha' post, but this alpha wasn't that bad before." You can't complain about the the alpha phase process of developing a game where things can get better and worse (or more difficult). I 100% agree about zombies going through walls but in alpha phase things change up and down. "How much do we have to pay to get the walking dead and not world war z(the movie)?" Last I checked this is DayZ and not the walking dead nor world war z. Did you buy this blindly thinking it would always be the walking dead? That's bad consumer research man.

Wow can you really do that? I got 3 bottles on me I need to fill and have been running through rain all day.

I server hop servers with less people in them and thus run around pretty carelessly. However, if it is ever a military base or airstrip, i have my gun out just in case.

Strategically speaking, he has a point.

I think generally though people who avoid other players would join servers not just because it is their favorite, but because it has a low amount of people at the present time and the serverrestarted recently. However, is there a way in-game to check the server name? If there is then that would take care of the suggestion as I should look at that before leaving gear.
