I haven't played for month's thought I just came back as a lot of new interesting stuff is being added.. But guess the players will finally kill this game though xD

This topic starts with a MP5 and AS50 file found.. and continues into a heavy discussion over what weapons to bring or not to bring into the game.. Funny to see how things evolve xD

You know there is actually a stickied "does my pc run dayz" topic.. :P That asside.. my 5 year old pc with just a ATI 4850 card runs DayZ... so yea xD

I met a few friendly people :) one even gave me a pistol with ammo when I had nothing xD

Doubt it mate :( my 4850 card can just barrely keep up with the game.. and that 4200 is way more shitty..

Rules as in how to play.. or just general rules? ofcourse in the last category comes no cheating, no hax, no rasism and stuff like that. Game wise, just survive :P

Well an hour is way to short.. Then it goes so fast it will give me a damn headache.. but 24 hours is way to slow.. Most of the time I can only play late at night, so I will always HAVE to play in the middle of the frigging night in the uber darkness.. No thanks xD I will deffo drop the game uber fast then. Playing in the night sometimes might be fun, but not ever single time.

First, for the love of everything holy lets keep it english please xD Second, it is still Alpha, bugs are about to happen, and happen a lot. Maybe reinstall the game? download it again, clear the steam cache.. if you know for sure you are on a regular server and not a expirimental then thats your best bet.

Yea or try jumping.. double tap W to run and then press V.. if all else fails.. dead is always an option.. Did you log out in the house or did your character first time spawn there? I didn't know there were spawns in houses... logging out in a house is a bad idea in alpha I think..

Yea I think somebody dumped it all there on purpose :P A few days ago I carried all kinds of crap on me, diffrent kinds of ammo, spare parts, loads of other random stuff. Dumped it all in a shet somewere.. looked a bit like that, but I didn't dump my guns ofcourse :P

I love it how everybody speculates on what it can be but everybody states their opinion as a fact.. while only the devs really know xD I haven't really got much sound bugs myself though.. only sometimes a gate opening and closing.. but nothing else..

Don't forget the loads of dutch (NL) servers! :) So yea, loads of europe servers to go around.. even get ping 10 or something on the dutch ones.. but playing on a US server with ping 100/150 still isn't a huge problem. And yea.. DayZ:SA is a complete stand alone game, nothing else is needed for it as said :)

Should run it with ease.. maybe not all on high but deffo can run it..

Sorry to say but I highly doubt it.. that card isn't really useful for gaming at all. (take a look on this page.. you'll see what I mean http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/AMD+Radeon+HD+6310/games ). and that proc is kind of slow as well..

I use TS3.. haven't used Ventrilo in ages.. never used the others really... used Skype years ago as well sometimes but that isn't really good for gaming imho.

Yea the dot is usefull for picking up stuff, I never use it to actually aim.. got my scopes/attachments for that. But yea they could remove the dot as soon as you take hold of a weapon and just show it visible when you got nothing in your hands.. that would work indeed.

I would have done the same as you :P No need getting killed off because of randoms.. you all should have stayed way clear.. but if they want to die fighting let them, don't get pulled into it. Now if it were clan mates that is a whole other scenario.. but they were not :P

So I though I'd share my first hours playing with you all. The first time I logged in I ran straight for the inland as I was told that was the safest place to head. I saw a load of buildings after 15 minutes of running and started to search through.. got jumped by a zombie and ran bleeding as a pig.. after a good while I managed to find me some shirts that I turned into rags, a backpack and a hammer.. After 4/5 more zombie encounters my rags were all used up and after looking through more empty buildings I had to run from 3/4 mobs. I came across anotehr player and after waving we both head our seperate directions. By now my guy was hungry as hell, I had 3/4 cans of food but luck has it I had no way to open them. Finally I died of starvation :( Then joined a friendly clan and together with another guy we headed for another town, after 10 minutes or so we saw a guy, then 2. but trying to punch us to dead so we ran. To bad they had yet another friend who did have a rifle and we both died. Respawned yet again and ventured into a semi big town. Was trying to get my bearings when I suddenly heard a guy saying Hi (I had seen him, though I thought he was a zombie..) he gave me a few cans of beans and even an canopener. So I wsas all set, another guy (the same guy was I met in my earlyer life) joined us as well and for a bit we looked around for loot but most was gone. The friendly chap who gave me the food also gave me a pistol with a few rounds so that was nice. I met up with my clan buddy again and shared some food again and we set off to find some more gear. When I logged out I had a backpack again and some stuff.. So far really enjoying the game. Being in a clan and not just being alone running around aimlessly really makes it more fun though =)

Survived another day.. Was looting up near an airfield with a clan buddy. Then the server we were on suddenly rebooted. 2 other people joined as well just as we got back, and ofcourse they were right at the airfield we were. I got knocked down right away, arm broken, bleeding like mad. Luckily I came back after a while and ran off, banaged and then scoped around.. my m8 was still alive and finally I saw the people who shot me. I killed one of them and the other one ducked away and was finally killed by my mate. A saline bag and a morphine later i'm good to go again. That just was really intense.. looking around with a scope while everthing is grey trying to see who shot you.. quite the thing.. that gets your blood rushing.

I gave away a few mags yesterday to some clan buddies. but yea you are right. I am going to cut down on the ammount of mags and just carry more "lose" Ammo.

Don't know if that is intentional or actually a bug.. but yea usefull for now at least :P I got one of those double magazines as well.. but I don't realy carry stacks of ammo.. got around 8 magazines on me xD

The one thing I don't have :( I got IV kits, saline, blood bag.. pain killers.. everything.. but no Morphine! :P
