Ok. I really did not yet know what vsync was so thanks. I don't have enough money for a computer probably that goes over 60 fps, but I do have a PC laptop connected to a larger screen that is probably fast enough to run most games pretty fast and source games run plenty fast. Also I was wondering your thoughts on build vs buy PCs and build vs buy laptops.

40-50 and 70-80 seem really different but they still are high enough speeds to play games. I DONT CARE ABOUT SMALL DIFFERENCES I WANT A SOLID 40-50 RATHER THAN A LAG SPIKING 70-80 FRAMES PER SECOND.

Bet my dad's computer can't play any source games, it's barely able to turn on in less than 15 mins.

Hey you guys sure a computers can run source games because my dad's PC is like windows vista and is when windows 7 was pretty much started. The whole thing crashes easier than minecraft with incompatible mods (it can't play minecraft). It toke 30 minutes for the thing to open internet explorer. It's from 2006.

Yeh you see I found a build online to make a PC for $300 and below and I thought a gaming PC would always cost more because it has amazing performance. Now I'm surprised.
