thanks for the replies, it seems im getting by on medium pop servers rather than high/low medium seems to be full of explorers who tend not to sit around the airfields, most of the time im avoiding them completely now and just sticking to the police stations, although the other night i found myself fully loaded out with the M4, Press Jacket, Big backpack, plenty of food/water, cooking pot, F Aid kit, 300 round box, 1911 engraved with plenty of ammo too. i accidently clicked drink instead of clean wounds on my disinfectant spray and got sick, fell unconscious and logged out, logged in next day "new char" lol was devastated

people walking around in trash can armour looking like a 6 year old dressed up as a knight. if you see a Z, go crouched and hide in the trash can using the lid as your hat.

In a town where no one survived except you and a few others how and why should electricity run? those tracks/stations for the trains indicate these were not steam trains, also would make it too GTA like

Would be pointless, encouraging players to stay in one city in a "safe house" is surely not the way of the game, exploration and knowing where you are, the feel of never being safe shouldn't become a game of tag and you can't touch me when i'm home. barricading a door to stop 30+ Z's maybe. not a digital attachment to a lock lol

Running through NWAF find super huge backpack, plenty of ammo, nice guns, no M4 tho -_- been looking for a lifetime since its taken me around 2 weeks to find this fucking place anyway lol. rummage through the hangars, see more hangar north, head up there, screen goes black "my leg is broken" "i am in severe pain" "you are dead" respawn most south eastern place you can think of, grab some munch and a drink, head into streets, see "friendly" pretty much don't even head his way, bang bang bang "my leg is broken" sever pain, you are dead. respawn near hospital, go in, guy with axe (i am unarmed) "you are dead" respawn again, see police station find some good guns and shit, head up stairs open the door fall through the floor everybody walk the dinosaur "you are dead"

couldn't disagree more, but if you're going down that route you may as well say COD/BF were rip offs of CS and CS was a rip off from MOH, not sure if you can read when you loadup the game itself but it says quite clearly the game is not finished.

been on/off for about a week now and finally come to the point where i dont really give any thoughts on what gear i have, it means nothing.... meaning in this game seems to be knowing where you are. so...i started out at the shipwreck (huge f'ing boat) loaded up a bag/food/canteen and made my way across, i can only presume that the boat is at Guba or Rify? since i made my way across to the next town and found an old police station, finding rope etc... oh and a handgun which is a pile of piss without a clip since u can't 1 shot zombies with it, anyways i moved along to an airfield/military base and found a rifle (HAHAHAHA) turns out when you shoot this thing it releases the sound of ten thousands suns combining and Z's fall in from all over the f'in place, im pretty sure im at Devils Castle now but still...without a compass i can't seem to get a grip on which direction to head, i wanna explore a little more and maybe pick up a suppressor or something other than this pristine firemans axe that wont draw attention. now... looking at devils castle on the map i wanna head to the airfield between Grishino and Lapatino then south to the military base, i'm at the top of this castle on the biggest hill so i can see a fair bit, is there anyone who knows any indication as to what might give a hint on these locations from looking out of the castle. PS loving the standalone its pretty decent
