Make sure you are launching Combined Operations and not just Operation Arrowhead. Try make a shortcut with the following: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\arma2OA.exe" "-mod=C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2;EXPANSION;ca" -mod=@DayZ I based that shortcut off the shortcut shown for my STEAM version of the game. - http://i.imgur.com/jFKHL.jpg As shown here, change the directorys accordinly to your system and install area.

No idea if this is the correct area to post this since i don't see any obvious player support areas. This is the third time this has happened, but first time for since patch 1.5.7. I'm playing a charecter i have had for a good 5+ days or so, god knows how many ingame hours but i have lived through two location resets and some pretty hellish events. Right, so. Dissapearing Backpacks, not much of a problem on a fresh life or when you are stuck in the bean wars. But i feel with a charecter you have had for a long time you get an attachment to it, it is your survival and no one wants to cut that time short. And this has happened to me, about 30 minutes ago and i feel it's left me in a real tough spot with solo survival with these new zombie ammounts. To my knowledge it was not myself that dropped the backpack. This happened just outside of mysta inside a red roof'd barn. I am still there since i logged out. I fully understand it's an alpha thats boomed in crazy popularity and there are only so many support and team members. Along with sometimes you just have to grit your teeth and get on with it.
