So ive noticed the combat is a little akward in the standalone. Im pretty sure this is due to come kind of lag or desync...anyways, I was peeking around the corner of a doorway to shoot another player who was sitting ontop of some stairs in the corner...fired two rounds at him..i heard him fire his M4..didn't take any immediate damage and returned back to cover..2 seconds later "you are dead" this all happened quickly and i was not exposed very long at all. not much of me should have been exposed and honestly it sounded as if he sprayed and prayed with an M4 and at 30% of my exposed body 2 boot. ive also got some kills in this same manner...and as cool as I think it is for a player to have a delayed reaction as you kill them..its kind of shitty. I haven't had to many good fire fights but this kind of disappointed me today. It almost feels like your being shot threw a wall which I know couldn't be the case. Was dayz mod like this as well?
