    Sneaky server update! (confirmed)

Forgive me my poor English, I think this is the root for all irritation: It's not a game, we've had a chance to pay (crowd- founding) to serve as test pilots and as " meat " to stress the engine and the servers for bugs and glitch to come forth and be found before the game is finished. This so the dev´s will not be accused of " releasing the game too early," as was the case with all BF 's releases , for example. Nobody likes to pay dearly for a buggy game. This method is not new or unique. But very effective at finding faults in the structure of the game. This strategy is now destroyed by a horde of little kids rushing to, because they hear about that it is " cool " and because it " costs less " and not understanding what this is about. They do not understand that they need to pedal around the ENTIRE game board and pry into every corner and to open all the doors so any errors are found ... maybe not always so fun ... but it is what it is all about. It will be fun even for kids, then when the game is finished. Instead, the kids create their own little “game world“ encompassing only electro and Balota, with occasional visits to other military camps or airfields to quickly “gear 'up”, then quickly back to the East Coast to sabotage as many Fresh spawns as possible in the easiest way. (they THINK they are trolling) But they are just pathetic and tiring. They made a CoD corner ... small map and pew pew pew... Then the need to acquire cheats is born, because they do not have the experience or skills and gets killed in every possible way (Z´s, glitches, rooftop´s and “bandits” = everyone that shoot them...) and even starts to cry over this in all the forums. (they even cry in forums over the fact that Steam or Battle eye banned them because of cheating?!?) This results in that fewer mature players have the desire to be involved in the development of the game and they leave for now to other places... dayz mods or Rust. So, what can we do guys? Well, just like in real life, you have to adapt and improvise. Z's begins suddenly get supervision and ability to run fast as hell... adapt and improvise. Fun, exciting and easy. A challenge which makes it interesting to poke around with the new conditions. All of a sudden the scene is flooding over its limits by mentally retarded kids who are excited to be able to torture their victims before they kill them. Adapt and improvise. Avoid becoming a victim, search strategies that make a mess of life for them. Create chaos around them and prevail. Cheaters... well. What to say? Switch to and stick to the servers where you do not suffer cheaters and report. If you have a server where no one log except 2-3 script kids so of course it gets too boring in the long run... maybe the server admin starts kicking cheaters? Bite your teeth and hold on, winds will change

What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?

How to convince a friend to get dayz

Oh? But then this is nothing for him. This is mainly for us young illiterate noobs. It is good if he stays out of it, for your sake to. He can care for you after you lost your job, wife and family due to hanging in the game to much...

DayZ should always be about survival...

Hey, I read a good suggestion. Every time you respawn you are hungrier than when you logged off, like -50%. To that I wanted to add that why not make it so that if you logg off (or servercrasch, whatever) and you log in you are hungy, but THEN if you within, say 10 min log in to a erlier server (ie battle log) then you spawn STARVING and low on blood. This way you are (if not stacked with supplies) forced to explore and loot before you go to sniperhill to shoot at fresh-spawns. That´s neat huh? And already we can help to make life more ... hmm ... interesting for those psycho-murderers on sniper hill. I have found that it is easy to herd those Z´s to almost any location and then outsprint them...sometimes even where you want them, and even standing in a bush or so. I have had some great fun lately, having my "guard-dogs" saving me from bandits. Try it, it might, at least, make the game more thrilling for them snipers. Just for now at least. ;)

When do you feel safe to logout?

Oh, that is where I planned tto herd my flock of Z´s, I hope you don´t mind?

How Long Should a Day Last? (Hardcore)

I would say the length of the day is not the real issue. It is more that all servers run the same cycle. If there where a variety of servers with different game-time (and no way for hoppers to see if loot just spawnwed, or better respawnable loot) that would help players to choose server from what their preferences at the moment are. Depending on how long time one has to play or if the potatoe can handle night or ...
  8. If spotter then binocculars... right?
  9. Gubbjeveln

Hunger Isn't an issue. And it should be,

If log into another server, and then back to the one you visited within 10 minutes hunger=starving+low on blood . :) I´m a sadist too This is as good ideas as making Z´s go for shooting sounds. I support this op idea
  10. Actually, at least one room, in the school/office building has a dor wich can´t be opened but has furniture. Bottom floor rightside, if you enter on the longside.

    What Do? "End-game"

Right now I am experimenting with Z´s a lot. I find them somewhat amusing to herd about. I have used them against bandits, sucess one tome out of three tries... :/ it will improve. Now I am gonna herd them (do not try to handle groups larger than 3-4) from villages north of electro and baluta and try to place them as extra attractions for those murderers on the sniper-hills. Try it out, it is not that easy, but very rewarding when successful.
  12. I think you cry to much. Z´s are easy to handle, only don´t shoot them, they will respawn. I have develped a technique to herd them, 3-4 at the time to outside of th village to loot, then outsprint them. (not hard) Then you can explore/loot in peace, also they serve as watchdogs. :) Next I am trying to round up a herd from those villages north of electro and baluta and I gonna try to leave them as a extra attraction for them murderers who like to camp over there. Join me in this, it is not easy but very rewarding when successful.

Zombies in the next stable build....

Pfft Z´s are easy. I use to herd them around so I get to loot in peace. They double as watchdogs ;) Next project is to herd some down from villages north of electro down to sniperhill and leave them there for an extra attraction for those murderers... try this, it is not hard.

Put it back....lootable bodys after ten minutes

Because it is easier to murder here on SA, many ppl try to play the game and interact with others...making them easy targets. I wish that there where a Karma-system, or a long and boooring initiation/qualification routine that would slow down them psycho-killers.

What has the standalone become ?

https://www.google.se/search?q=dayz+cheats&rlz=1C1EODB_en&oq=dayz+cheats&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i64.4469j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8#q=dayz+sa+cheats I think cheating is peaking right now. Although I do not understand why one would like to cheat in this type of game. When it is all about surviving, exploring and player vs player interaction/cooperation. I hope that this will stop soon.
