I support your opinion and have suggested that before. Added to this there could be another aproach, #1 Amount of loot linear proportional to number of players. (= it pays off better to loot on high pop servers than on empty) #2 No "high-end-loot" until x number of players, there will be only basic weapons so you can handle the environment. (stops serverhopping for loot on empty servers) #3 Loot you found will be lost if you do not carry it in-game a certain time. (I.e. play the game.) Then I would like a direct connection to all forums here, on Steam and on reddit that wipes all that cries over their lost carbines and pristine vests or that Z´s ruined the above mentioned. :)

I would like to know this. Now, for a couple of weeks, every time you enter SE-server they announce to NOT be connected to the hive. So You loose your character every time. Also I spwn near Electro every time... what is the idea? Are we not supposed to explore the map? I think that soon there will not be many players visiting SE-servers if this continous. It is a bit booring as it is now. If someone knows about this please inform us on how long this will continue. -

The sound is most iportant, it is that what makes the game scary or not and the atmosphere...if you think about half-life...crapy grphics, but great feeling thx to good sounds. Irl, one can spot other ppl long before you see them just by listening. I want this in the game, also because your in-game vision is tunneled compared to real life. I would like every sound to be generated by a object, not like now, background noice. If birds flap away because you scre them, I want to see the birds fly...and others see them too. Ther could be dogs or Z´s trapped in backyards (or where ever) starting to bark or howling when they see someone to close. Doors squeeking (not the same sound on all doors) in the wind or when you open them adds a lot of the tension and feeling. Also gives you a warning if someone is entering the house you are in. Metallic sounds like loading should travel further than soft sounds like eating. Those falcons we see circling already in the game could be attracted to Zombies and dead bodies (when they stop disappearing) so one can spot from far that something is going on. There is a lot to do about sounds and we look forward to see (hear?) what the sound team are up to. -

The sound(s) Irl, moving in the terrain, I can usually spot people long before they see me or I see them by the sounds. In the game people can pop up next to you un-noticed. Also irl it is quite easy to hear the difference of rifles and pistols, and if they are shooting owards you or away from you. Ingame...well..you know... Every sound, like birds or a broken stick or wind in grass and leafs ought to be "real" sounds, so one gets help of them ears. Espescially when the game gives you a bit of "tunnelvision". (your irl eyes have wider FOV and you move your eyes and head constantly so you are aware of a wider area. There could be birds (deer, rabbit) on the ground that flies up, scared, when someone moves by them or dogs or Z´s trapped behind fences but that starts to make noice when someone is spotted nearby. I agree on doorsounds when moving in the wind. Not all doors the same sound. This could also give early warning when someone is moving in on you. I also think that the sounds when someone is running shuold be heard further away but moving slow should be quiet. The metallic sounds, like loading a rifle should travel futher than eating sound for example. It´s gonna be iteresting to see what the soundteam comes up with. -

Thank you, this was informative. This also raised thoughts new for me, the physics of ones char ingame and why sometimes moving feels awkvard. I will give it a try and explore the settings. I look forward to bump into you ingame.

IRL the "cold war" tranmitter in Ucraina has recently started to transmit... no one can explain why. And it transmits coded series of numbers wich yet are uncoded... a lot o rumors about that if you google about. So, my friend, shiver... and stay away from green mountain...
