    just tried the firewall and it didn't work. i really want to avoid reinstalling because it took forever when i first installed it, but if i have to i will.

    Thank you ^^ I just went and turned off my firewall, I'll test it out to see if that works.

    I've been trying to play this all day, and I keep getting kicked from server after only being there for no longer than 5 minutes. It says that I am getting kicked from the Battleye not updating. I have tried googling it to no avail, because I am seeing that most fixes have to do with Arma and Arma II which I have neither of those games. I bought DayZ as it's own game on steam just a few days ago. I don't know what to do to fix it, but I am verifying the files right now. Is there any suggestion or help or fix for this? I really want to play, but have no clue what is going on or how to fix it. Thanks
