When you die you have to wait 10 minutes or something like that. This gives a sense of "my life is important because I have a penalty for dying." With this I believe there would be less run-and-gun around the cities. Thoughts?

I did this but the music in place make situations so much more tense. You are being shot at while you are hiding behind a building and those machines are just clanking away only distracting you more and making it more difficult for you to make intelligent decisions. I think they add an extra level of difficulty. :)

I'd say stay with the g17 because it can use the m9 magazines as well and also has a flashlight. Ammo seems more prevalent for it as well. Edit - Never mind, apparently the pdw can use that ammo as well! I guess it comes down to if you want a flashlight or an automatic gun. From what I've seen with the pdw is that it has poor iron sights.

Haha, yeah. That was hilarious! I'm just thinking, "Is there a person running next to him?" Sure enough right when you step off your bike he snatches it! That would've sucked if he got away. I find it very funny that you shot him through the bush and he just disappears; like he exploded or something haha. With that big of rifle it is possible!

Zombies that spawn inside buildings would be a good idea if the majority of the buildings present in cities were enterable.

Earlier today I was at Stary Sobor in the military tents trying to obtain some decent items in the dark (I always travel in the dark now). I don't have nightvision and I don't use my g17's flashlight much. While I was in the eastern most tent I peered out of it to see if there were any unsavory people, suddenly, I saw something that looked like sniper rifle, my heart started to race as I had never seen one before. I quickly flipped my g17's flashlight and sure enough, it was what I believe to be a M107. There were dead zombies around the gun so I thought that it was just a weird weapon spawn. I cautiously creeped out of the tent to try to snatch this sniper rifle as fast as I could, but to my horror, when I got close to the weapon a strange mousewheel menu appeared, "Open alice pack". At this point I'm totally confused. One of the weapons in this gentleman's pack caught my eye, a M4A1 CCO, the silenced m4. I clicked on the weapon and pressed take(?). After the deed was done I looked through the mousewheel menu on this black, indistinguishable blob and the option, "Check pulse" appeared. I selected it not knowing what would happen. A few seconds later a message appeared and told me, "A strong pulse". Right when I saw that, it dawned on me that I had been browsing this man's wares while alive! I made my character crouch and run away like a little girl seeing a monster. "What have I done? I pilfered that poor man's weapon without him or I knowing of the other!" I thought about it for a moment, and then I realized that my m16a2 probably went into his pack! Next time he tries to be sneaky he is going to have a bad surprise! I still wonder what has become of him this day... Too long - I took a man's rifle from his pack without him or I knowing that the other was alive.

Such is life. I find it very difficult to attack a person who is not attacking me. Does the 3 minute ko timer only happen when you alt f4 or just disonnect in general? I also really wish I was recording with fraps at the time because I'm sure just by the way I was acting you could tell that I was extremely confused.

Didn't feel like reading rest of topic but nicotine is a stimulant. There is no physical way to smoke and become relaxed. Smoking gives the illusion of calming down but that is only if you are addicted to nicotine and suffering from withdrawals. <- Still does not calm you down.

Wow, you guys meet some serious douches. Normally whenever I see someone in the city I run circles around them asking how they are doing and such. Hasn't failed me yet and these people were heavily armed (I was too). I try everything in my power to help people out. Whenever I am in the larger cities I always find myself tagging along with random people or they tag along with me. I'd say my friendly to bandit ratio is about 8 friendlies to 1 bandit. Really the only bandits I see (I actually don't see them) are the snipers who just go crazy on you. ~GloriousGreed is the in game name (ironic, I know) or Uz3.

When I first spawn, run into big towns and find gear. Run to NW Airfield. Then back to the woods and survive.

Combined operations is only $30 on steam. I've looked around at websites that sells cd keys but the lowest I've seen was $28.98. Unless you can find someone to give you an unactivated key, your best bet is to just buy it from steam.
