I had the same problem a few days ago but it has sorted it self out...sorry i cant help further, i do remember swapping my sks for a mosin then later on finding another sks and attaching a scope and it worked fine...may be a bug :/

All they could do is to add some signs above the shops and add the stuff that is assosiated with the sign i.e. big bills hunting surplus would contain shotgun sheels, pistol ammo etc

Im not 100 percent but i think dean said when they put the hunting aspect into it.. think they are going to work on zombies as well due to the animals need the same work..dont quote me tho, as i said im not 100 percent. Soomebody may have to real answer :)

When i join a server {normally high pop if im on my own as i prefer them} and see 5 to 10 people in a clan i get all excited.....i track them down and see if there doing anything naughty and if i feel like they are upto no good i hunt them :) cant beat taking a few clan tropheys :)

Well alot of people on the forums know that im better with travelling in the woods and have forced myself to learn the way of the woods {sounding like mr miyagi XD} I always log out in the forest, woods never in a building. Some people it suits, not me. Last thing you want is logging in and hearing people over direct and your a sitting duck :)

oh one last thing after 3 posts with a attitude wont go well around these forums, if your asking a quistion on the forum and looking for help it tends to show your abit of a douchbag ending you thread with 'if your going to be an ass'.

sounds like your internet could be going wonky, joining bad servers, desync {everyone gets it} and yes its alpha...that can a reason to. But hey join a sever and play for abit, see if anything happens, then join your friends and see what happens

flares would be interesting as there good for showing locations to finds...a nice feature would be to hold the flare and scroll function to start waving the flare to signal people, friends etc

compile all the footage with the other people who have caught him/played on the same server send it to DEVs asap...this has to stop, great video exposing this scum

So it all started around an hour ago. I decided to give all my stuff to a guy on the forums who is fairly new as he had been mowed down by loads of people at spawn points. So there i was, a fresh spawn. For once i thought 'hey lets go up to green mountain and see what goodies i can find there then i could move onto the airfield'. So after looting a few buildings and being very lucky in getting a splitter axe, a small bag and some food i went on my merry way. on the way a guy shot at me and it all lasted 5 minutes till i chopped him like a good en XD. anyway looted and got a SKS with a few rounds in it. Finally....green mountain. I was so happy to make it when i heard 2 voices. one of them said 'hey this one hasn't been looted on this server yet'. My thoughts wondered what they were on about. I camped just outside the wall so i could listen some more. 'hey i found a M4 with some mags' one of them said the other replied 'naaaa its sh%t..i want a mosin'. i was thinking at this point these guys were up to no good. There conversation continued.....'well that's all that cr@p looted lets server hop, loot that one, then come back on this one as it restarts soon i think' the other said 'yeah why not, this game sucks anyway' No way.....I have actually found two people server hopping XD after thinking what they had said i thought i should get into a better position so i could nail these gits. around 20mins passed, server did restart but they weren't coming back. I thought 'sod it...to the airfield then'. Before i could even get up i heard 'you in yet or what'. I dropped to cover again and within 5 seconds i heard the others guy voice 'yeah i am lets make it quick as this server has loads of people on it {actually buddy theirs around 20 people} My time to shine.....I crept up slowly to the side of the front door and waited...there little convo carried on about how one of them had a 3 some last weekend and how big of a man he was for not going home the same night...finally they both popped out. I said nice and load 'hey there chaps....been a hard day server hopping' with that the next sound they heard was a clack clack clack clack...both dead and both cursing me stating that they could ban me off the server and hack my PayPal {that's a new one for me being threatened to be hacked} all and all i had fun with these two chaps. Anyway thanks for reading guys, will share more stories if anything funny happens when im on. TheHuntsMan

Why thanks buddy..yeah no need for players like that, my eldest sons friend came over today and said he was server hopping etc...gave him a dead arm and told him not to be in my presence XD

It would make me raise an eyebrow as well...but its hard to confirm anything in alpha really.
