If we could build walls and gates and the like, and keep zombies for spawning by having fires, a town could be built. I don't want to have prefind areas for players to build a town. I'm thinking of an area outlined by walls or barricades, built by the play to encircle an area where they keep lit up so that zombies and undisired players alike have a difficult time getting into. -

But I don't want to survive... I want to live and thrive, rebuild my home town defend it and try and get things back go a form of normal. Like what I would do in a real situation like this. That and I want to have a city or area secured where zombies can't spawn as like a safe haven. For new spawns, and the veterans alike to meet up share supllies, get away from the fact that they had to kill their own infected family, group up, create a city that is only successful because of people working together to do more than survive. But instead you suggest that we have to keep looking over our backs, for zombies and players alike, constantly move and look for basic necessities almost constantly and never try and create a sense of social or community interaction outside of your group of 5-6 guys killing everyone they see afraid to go near other survivors. -
Nice, my first press vest was prestine and at swaf, I had only been playing for a few hours. A few days later, I died at that same airfield by a sniper and his friends (they new guy I was grouped up with got away unharmed). So basicly my first press vest didn't save my life, it helped my by a distraction to save another's.

I ussualy log out in buildings, may not do that anymore... Joined a sever with one other person in it, and guess what room they where in... They ended up dying because they thought they could win playing chicken on the roof of a fire station.

My issue is that they can catch up to you... These are people that are infected and dead... Wtf they doing catching up to a a human in prime condition... And leaping 15ft like its nothing.

I don't encounter zombies that often and they are hardly a issue when I do incounter them... Except for that one female zombie with speed hacks...

Good work, they even gave me a spair jacket, as both my jacket and pants where ruined... to bad i got killed an hour later by some random group... -

I usualy have my axe out or fists, I only bring out my m4 when I'm with my outfit, or if I hear a player and they don't respond to me calling out to them.

I don't walk with my weapon lowered, will have to try see if I notice it.

Motion sickness, you need something to tell your mind that feeling like your really not moving. I can't watch minecraft videos actually...

How about use raw input, your head and sight moves with the mouse, then the body moves baised on physics. So a heavy weapon with a player standing up and not ads will over shoot then return to where your looking if you make a quick movement, working in the way a human actually moves. So twitch qcq with a heavy gun (like an lmg) would be more unwieldy feeling than an assault rifle and such, forcing players to use weapons for there designed roles...

they should rework how they handle colors and textures before they get to far in, if paint was just a layer added onto the texture in certain areas, it wouldnt experience the lag and issues your mentioning, and it would allow for decals and stencils (I have a thread on it) -
So they would have to add in some new classes? And rework how textures and painting is handled now? (Idk what language they are writing it in and haven't looked at the code)
