Honestly buddy although the nwaf is the best place on the map it is quite buggy atm and also there is no way in hell you can retrieve your stuff yourself either, just avoid it if you can. was your friend at the nwaf ? if he was he could search your body and if your trousers were ruined then you probably fell a few feet to your death.

There is no kill log or anything like that so no it is highly unlikely you will ever find out if you do not play with others. Sounds to me like you were either sniped or fell foul to one of the many terrible bugs there are in this early alpha, i myself fell down a few steps in the firestation over there and died once and i was fuming after hours of gearing up this character and no way to get back to him. I now avoid nwaf for this reason.

Yes, i like it. If you do decide to start smoking regularly and do get addicted you get the message 'I need a cigarette' Your hands could start shaking until you get your fix.

If you mean threads which is the start of a topic then no, follow^^zedertones^^ advice and contact a mod, you can do this easily by just clicking the report button but i dont think that's the best way to do it. If however you are talking about posts which is what i am making now then you can not delete them but what you can do is edit it and put a smiley :D

Pretty sure it already does do something, here are some examples of what i have figured out. Clothes : Pristine will negate a bullet, you wont bleed, worn will negate most damage but you will bleed, damaged will negate a bit fo the damage but you will bleed out very quickly, badly damaged, pretty much ruined will negate some of the damage but you would need to bandage very quickly. Food : As a new spawn if the first thing i find is a pristine bag of rice it will turn my energized to light green straight away, if i find a damage bag of rice it will only take it to dark green energized. This is what i have noticed and as you can tell the condition of things DOES affect how well it performs in whatever job it is doing, the better the clothes the more damage you can take, the better the food the more energy it will provide. There are of course lots of variables to this like one example is what bullets you are getting shot by etc.. but overall they do already mean different things, you should run some tests with some friends and find out for yourself.

Your absolutely right buddy but this is something the devs need to sort out not battleye, they can only work with what they have. The real disgrace is the way dean hall flouted around about how this game was not going to be like the mod in terms of hacks but at this point in time with not being tied to steam and no kill log to see suspicious activity there is fuck all you or anyone else can do about it and in some ways it is worse then the mod. Funny that they made it even harder by allowing you to change your name in game, what exactly was wrong with it being tied to your steam name any way (nothing). And the worse part out of all of this is that we don't hear jack shit from anyone working on this game, this dude from battle eye is the only one who actually seems to give a flying fuck about it, the devs lips are sealed and you get loads of shills on here who will quickly downplay the issue making it even harder for the devs to hear our concerns. It is the only thing in the development process at the moment that is really giving second thoughts about the standalone ( i was killed by a teleporting hacker this morning, hence the rant)

This should be stickied, all the problems i had seen with it have been addressed so pretty much spot on. But yes eventually i think everyone will need to find a group as it increases the enjoyment in the game ten fold, for me anyway.

The honorable thing to do would be to throw it away but if you want to keep it, keep it. There is no risk of you getting banned as millions of these are in the game at the moment and the person who was using it was not a hacker but managed to come across it somehow. oh nice one, just wrote this so i guess ill delete it.

Good, it is about time. I hate the fact that loot is concentrated in certain spots, it's what makes the game such a death match atm. Although finding a UN helmet in a civ building is a bit ludicrous at least it is a step in the right direction, they can sort out what goes where later.

I still play pokemon myself even though i speed it times ten but good luck making models for all the different pokemon plus the items like the balls etc etc, it is just a ludicrous idea. I bet you are playing pokemon and dayz at the moment and that's why you are thinking like this.

This, side chat is so childish and i am so glad it is not in this game, at least with direct chat i can choose what i listen to or what i do not. No need to get hostile, i know where you are coming from but i think what was trying to say is that as this is meant to be a simulation and lots of people smoke in real life it would not be against what the game is going for.
