I did not see that from dean at all, i think he was acknowledging the reason why people server hop and can understand it but he would like to eliminate it like applejax said, he wants certain parts to be hive based so say for example there are only two pairs of night vision goggles and people have already got those two pairs of night vision goggles your ass can server hop all you want, Your never going to find a pair of night vision goggles. You need to interact with other players if you ever want to find them.

How do you know this out of interest, is there a list somewhere ??

There are no future plans to curb it as far as i am aware, everyone working on this game remains completely silent about it and it is shameful. They may have something planned but nothing they have told anyone about and they certainly have not been reassuring the people whose game is being ruined by this issue that there is hope. I think they are content with battleye, the exact same thing they had in arma 2 that never worked so forget what they add to this game, if they do not find a way to fix this issue then it will be the thing to ruin this game. That being said you have to bear in mind that the design of this game really limits the scope of what hackers can actually do, they will never be able to do the crazy stuff they were able to do in the mod as most stuff is handled server side now so i don't think it will ever be that bad.

Yes but i personally find it hard to enjoy the content when i am made uncomfortable by the audio. I really do see you guys messing around and that's cool but don't post this stuff online, if you are going to post stuff online then make sure there is no racism in there and also no vulgar jokes about rape. 2 hours of day, one hour of night. That would be the best, to the people who are saying a full 24 hour day night cycle that just really would not work. We want to eleminate the constant day servers not encourage them, that is what full cycles will do.

No it does not man, three punches, I know it is ridiculous as i was knocked out last night and had my mosin and lrs scope taken and before i could even stand up he knocked me out. Your logging out in bad places, in the middle of a field for one. You need to wait out the 300 second timer on the server screen not while you are in game. This does not happen to me or thousands of other people so it is something YOU are doing wrong, don't mean to sound like i am being harsh but it is your fault. As you play the game more you will learn the places that are always busy and the places no one visits so you may think you are logging out in a safe place but if it is a place that loads of people go to then it is not going to be as safe as you think it is, also don't log out in buildings, killed someone last night doing this at the airfield. Just keep playing at it will get better.

Well then your friend does not like playing early alpha's and i don't blame him. He obviously has no interest in the testing and development of the game so he should not buy the game at all. This game at it's current state is not for your friend, lying to him would be the only way to get him to buy it.

If he says noobs play this game when arma and dayz (based of arma) are one of the most realistic combat sims out there then he obviously has no clue what he is talking about and probably thinks battlefield is for pro's. I don't think the game is for him but i think the best way to get him to buy it would be to find an immersive youtube video (you find the right video) that shows off exactly how tense the game can be when getting fired at and when injured and see if he likes the look of it.

No i certainly do not log out of any server i join based on names. The bigger the clan the harder the challenge to survive, the more fun the game is. Your basically admitting to running away from a challenge. Also you forget some clans are friendly so you might not have anything to fear anyway.

And the hackers are back, just joined a fresh server went into one of the two sotry airport buildings all doors were shut, some one starts laughing over voip so i back into the corner behind the steps ( the sfest place you can be) and i hear an axe swing and my arm breaks i knew it was a hacker straight away so i keep running in circles so he cant appear behind me and he pops up at the stairs laughs and as i run over to him he teleports behind me and axes me. That ban wave lasted long.

Agreed but at this buggy stage in the game i think the time needs to be increased to 15 minutes. For example last night i was in the second floor of police station above NEAF against a wall and a zombie came up and hit me, this pushed me through the wall as if you are pushed by a zombie you ignore walls, and i fell to my death. I got a berizino spawn and ran straight back there got half my gear but as i left my body to drop my first gun when i went to pick up my second gun i could no longer access the body. It does not bother me but sometimes as we all know your death can be out of your control.

I prefer to call it electro, i actually think they should have called it electro in the first place. In fact i am now never going to call it elektro again. :lol: :D

If you were hacked bro which you may have been there is a thread at the top of this one which has every bit of information you could possibly imagine about hacking and what it is like in this game, you can also get some real answers to your questions. My advise is to think about what you are typing, type a better explanation and then post it in the hacking thread that is pinned above this one, there you will get some like minded people who can help you and will be more inclined to believe you. Also there is not anything they can currently do even if you know the name of the person hacking since it is not linked to your steam name and also there are no private hives where the admins can actively kick hackers when they are reported.
