You realize this map is huge right? Why on earth would you make EVERYTHING make you go slower... Too thirsty? Walk slower, Hungry? Slower, Hit by a zombie? Slower. wait 5,10,15, 20 minutes for your health to rise up so you can run at a normal speed? Are you serious? I have THOUSANDS of hours on this game, THOUSANDS , And this mobility thing is BY FAR the most POORLY ADJUSTED & ADDED IDEA EVER. Stamina? Sure why not. MAYBE, just MAYBE make it a little more realistic considering the map size. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE don't make EVERY mistake make your character run slower. You're literally trapped half the time if your character starts to hobble. How do these ideas get put to the drawing board and you don't SEE the flaws. Its MIND BOGGLING. MAYBE make the thirst meter more realistic, I'M NOT DYING ON THIRST EVERY 20 MINUTES IN REAL LIFE, WHO GAUGES THIS STUFF FOR CONTENT. PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE DARK AGES.

as of 0.51? Sorry if this has been beaten to death with posts, I couldn't find a definitive answer. I found a tent, I was wondering if it's worth deploying and leaving gear in it, Or will it dissapear due to a random crash ect.

I was playing and got disconnected from a server for having too high a ping, (so my character kept running forward for awhile until it D/C'ed.) *FIX THAT DEVS* So I log in 50ft ahead of where I D/C'ed and well SH!T, I'm stuck inside of a very large rock, After 20 minutes of trying to jump around, sprinting, and logging in and out near the edge of the rock to try and escape, I had an idea! Better yet, it even worked first try! So to escape the rock I hit my macro key for W (my auto run) I ran at the rock edge and unplugged my internet cord, Hoping it would make my character run until it D/C'ed. I logged back in and i was out of the rock several feet ahead! I'm sure holding down 'W' while unplugging your net cord will work just the same as my macro. I looked online for ways to escape rocks and didn't see any. So I figured I'd share.

Every 2nd time I try and press the record button with Bandicam the fucking game crashes. Good thing I'm smart enough to press record while I'm safe, But it took a death to realize. This is utter crap :l anyone else have this problem? 1/2 the time I'm playing I'm too scared to hit record button in the middle of battle because I'm too scared it'll crash, Which is bogus..

Clearly taken out of context, America is my example, Because it would fall under the guise of "A so called Great Society" Would it not? Where the eff do I start? It must be very VERY dark where you are, Because your head must be FAR, FAR, FAR up your hiney. (see how nicely I said that?) I could make this a mile long, But considering the ignorance of your reply, You don't take well to subversive thinking patterns. So I'll leave you with all this. The tip of the ice burg. Let's start with the US patent shall we? That they quietly acquired sum years ago. http://www.google.ca/patents/US6630507 http://www.leafscience.com/2014/02/23/5-must-know-facts-cannabidiol-cbd/ CBD effects: Antiemetic Reduces nausea and vomiting Anticonvulsant Suppresses seizure activity Antipsychotic Combats psychosis disorders Anti-inflammatory Combats inflammatory disorders Anti-oxidant Combats neurodegenerative disorders Anti-tumoral/Anti-cancer Combats tumor and cancer cells Anxiolytic/Anti-depressant Combats anxiety and depression disorders http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/29/nida-marijuana-research_n_5737592.html http://mychronicrelief.com/cannabis-science/cannabinoids/ http://norml.org/library/item/introduction-to-the-endocannabinoid-system What Is The Endocannabinoid System? The endogenous cannabinoid system, named after the plant that led to its discovery, is perhaps the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. In each tissue, the cannabinoid system performs different tasks, but the goal is always the same: homeostasis, the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite fluctuations in the external environment. Cannabinoids promote homeostasis at every level of biological life, from the sub-cellular, to the organism, and perhaps to the community and beyond. Here's one example: autophagy, a process in which a cell sequesters part of its contents to be self-digested and recycled, is mediated by the cannabinoid system. While this process keeps normal cells alive, allowing them to maintain a balance between the synthesis, degradation, and subsequent recycling of cellular products, it has a deadly effect on malignant tumor cells, causing them to consume themselves in a programmed cellular suicide. The death of cancer cells, of course, promotes homeostasis and survival at the level of the entire organism. Endocannabinoids and cannabinoids are also found at the intersection of the body's various systems, allowing communication and coordination between different cell types. At the site of an injury, for example, cannabinoids can be found decreasing the release of activators and sensitizers from the injured tissue, stabilizing the nerve cell to prevent excessive firing, and calming nearby immune cells to prevent release of pro-inflammatory substances. Three different mechanisms of action on three different cell types for a single purpose: minimize the pain and damage caused by the injury. The endocannabinoid system, with its complex actions in our immune system, nervous system, and all of the body's organs, is literally a bridge between body and mind. By understanding this system we begin to see a mechanism that explains how states of consciousness can promote health or disease. In addition to regulating our internal and cellular homeostasis, cannabinoids influence a person's relationship with the external environment. Socially, the administration of cannabinoids clearly alters human behavior, often promoting sharing, humor, and creativity. By mediating neurogenesis, neuronal plasticity, and learning, cannabinoids may directly influence a person's open-mindedness and ability to move beyond limiting patterns of thought and behavior from past situations. Reformatting these old patterns is an essential part of health in our quickly changing environment. What Are Cannabinoid Receptors? Sea squirts, tiny nematodes, and all vertebrate species share the endocannabinoid system as an essential part of life and adaptation to environmental changes. By comparing the genetics of cannabinoid receptors in different species, scientists estimate that the endocannabinoid system evolved in primitive animals over 600 million years ago. While it may seem we know a lot about cannabinoids, the estimated twenty thousand scientific articles have just begun to shed light on the subject. Large gaps likely exist in our current understanding, and the complexity of interactions between various cannabinoids, cell types, systems and individual organisms challenges scientists to think about physiology and health in new ways. The following brief overview summarizes what we do know. Cannabinoid receptors are present throughout the body, embedded in cell membranes, and are believed to be more numerous than any other receptor system. When cannabinoid receptors are stimulated, a variety of physiologic processes ensue. Researchers have identified two cannabinoid receptors: CB1, predominantly present in the nervous system, connective tissues, gonads, glands, and organs; and CB2, predominantly found in the immune system and its associated structures. Many tissues contain both CB1 and CB2 receptors, each linked to a different action. Researchers speculate there may be a third cannabinoid receptor waiting to be discovered. http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/5169.html http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/cam/cannabis/healthprofessional/page4 http://www.cmcr.ucsd.edu/images/pdfs/05_Zhuang.pdf -

Is that why 'Murica stamped out Cannabis in the late 30s? Because it was obviously so unbeneficial? Which Cannabis has been proven to be the most beneficial plant on the planet? Great society I'm sure, Truely looking out for man kinds best interest at heart. Indeed. That alone renders your sarcastic rebuttal to sound quite silly. -

Just a thought, Seeing as people are on the topic already.. Ever wonder exactly WHY Psychedelics became illegal? It wasn't based on scientific reasoning, In fact it wasn't based on any logical reasoning. Take 8 minutes to Listen to Terrence! People need to think twice about the word "illegal" and remember who made it so. Corporate, government, and douchers alike. Think about this for instance, Christianity is somewhat believed to be originally a mushroom cult (lots of evidence supports that) and the doubling of the human brain over a short 1/2 mill year'ish peroid of time is believed to be due to the consumption of physosybin mushrooms and other hallucinogens, Which also has lots of evidence supporting it. ALL of which of course is theory. But tons of puzzle pieces fit together on this basis. My point is psychedelics are our friend, We'd probably be nowhere without them. The insurmountable evidence supporting how GOOD they can be is only trumped by peoples ignorant attitudes to past and future endeavours. Quit conforming and following the flock. This is the only time in human history (the 1900s to present day) have we been denied the right to explore our own consciousness. Because if most of the population DID, They'd see how corrupt shit has become. Man has been getting high for eons and look where it got us! (and unless you're a bible thumper, These are facts you cannot deny.) -

Don't meet in town square. No cease fire ( I can't see EVERYONE following that rule till 5..) To keep it simple, and to prevent others from Trolling and screwing about, There WILL NOT be a meet up before hand. Show up and keep a low profile until about 5pm, Start shooting people at 4:50 IF you so choose. Just don't go over board searching for people till about 5:00pm I could easily see a Troll trying to gun down the lot of us.. So let's just avoid that. Let's just ALL do our best to KEEP LOW until about 5. Let's make it as fun and as fair as possible for everyone. If we make rules, That just gives people the chance to break them. SERVER: info is posted as a picture. But search this name in the filter. Server Name: .:In FOG We Trust, The Rest We Dust. IP: 66.55.137.111 Port: 2302 -
Just some PvP action near Berezino shoreline and PD area. I got the drop on 2 players randomly and took the opportunity to open fire. Probably could have killed both but I kept it safe, Had 2 zombies on me anyway >.< Turns out there was a small group of 3-5 holding an Apt. I did my best to interrupt their day.
-
EDIT: (Recanting statement: Arm must have been broken, and it didn't show an injury, Nor did my character make pain noises.. Fix that please, That's important.. >.>) Is it just me, Or is Mosin sniping broken?.. I've been playing for over 1000 hours, I mainly use the Mosin and both scopes. But nowadays it's god damn impossible to aim with it. While holding your breathe you're doing 3-4 inch figure eights with the crosshairs and that crosshair is moving fast.. Completely impossible to shoot at someone 400m+. Looking at my old dayz game play footage and comparing the two, This is a night and day difference.. I can hold a god damn weapon in real life sturdier than my dayz character can.. This needs to be addressed. Anyone saying it's more realistic can stfu, because it's not. This dramatic change doesn't even make sense.

I met up with 2 friends in Svetlojarks, We were headed to Berezino and decided to see who we could screw around with along the way there. A couple of the folks we raped happily joined our group once we were finished. I'd say most people we ran into had a good time, Even if we were being "bandit like".. >.> It was an older video I had forgotten about and decided to post up. It was nice to completely forget about something I made, I had watched it not knowing what came next. I thought things turned out alright. It made me lol abit as things progressed into Berezino, But then again I'm easily amused with myself sometimes... Take a gander if you're bored!
-
Hmmm, confirmed: I'm an idiot. Something must have been broken, Thanks for telling me injury doesn't appear. I hadn't played in a bit, Don't recall breaking an arm either..
-
I was definitely having one of those days where I was in the right moment at the right time! Doesn't happen often.. This PvP video takes place in Berezino ;D I was definitely in a killing mood, and a being a bandit if possible. So I helped to make sure Berezino stays the Hell hole it currently is!
-
Nope he definitely hit the floor, He falls during the transition back to reality.. I was lucky he didn't nail me on the way into that room though.. Definitely going to buy a new headset soon Sorry!, My voice and commentary isn't a huge priority to me, But I guess it would help the viewer. I'm just lookn for action! xD
-
3 guys were acting as Police in Svetlo and apparently there was some corruption in the force... After that was taken care of we went to NEAF then found ourselves down in Berezino fighting to stay alive..
-
I had gotten some decent action by the end of this engagement, I was curious how watchable this is for people.. Or maybe I should just delete the video and forget it all happened... I manage to kill all 3 myself as my teammates do all the talking... I really wished this had happened on a day server because It was one of my favorite new engagements I've been in lately... anyone? Thoughts? This videos quality too shitty to keep it uploaded? IF so I might just delete it...
-
Saying "No Comment" is a comment. Fail.
-
Ahhhh nicely done, Kill those skill-less noobs!
-
This was one of the first videos I made for Dayz, It's abit of an intro to the new group I've found, It compiles of me Meeting a few new members and Action shots from 4 future events of us all killing together as a family...It's really quite touching if you think about it like that.. It's about the time where I had turned a new leaf in DayZ, I was trying to make friends with the cool people and was KoSing much much less... xD This was my first try on flashback type videos, Hard to make that stuff look good!... I thought it turned out decent, The 'flash forwards' as it were, were of some decent action. Leaving people wanting more hopefully xD
-
At the end of this story, I kill 3 of 4 in their squad. This is what I call fun... ;D I log into Hardcore and hear a Mosin go off twice. I feel like testing my skill and decide to see what there is out in this tiny Triangle town of nothing... I KoS a guy, I admit ;p (He's 1 of 4...apparently it's a squad) Given the odds.. I feel pretty good about doing what I did... >.> It was fantastic practice. You can tell from my silence, I was concentrating not to screw it up xD I really didn't expect to see 4 guys in this New town above NE airfield... Although there was about 30 people on the server.. I don't KoS too often unless threatened anymore, But sometimes I can't help but do this >.>
