    Yesterday morning I sent a support ticket concerning the gas mask/ballistic helmet problem (misclicked in a haste, couldn't put gas mask back on - thought it was a bug). Today my ticket was answered by Accolyte. After reading his response, I assume the devs plan to reintroduce the gas mask/helmet combination at some point after they made some "adjustments". But the reason why they had to take this feature out of the game, instead of leaving it as it was while making adjustments and just patch it at some point is beyond me. o.O My thanks to Accolyte for his quick response btw.     I'm always for more different items to have more costumisation options - but right now I just want to wear my gas mask below my ballistic helmet again. XD

    I have been to all military locations and was also looking for beans around the coast - so that makes me what? Someone who enjoys the military look and sight-seeing in DayZ? o.O I even care about cosmetic attachments to guns - because my m4 looks awesome with a bayonet, or a surpressor. ;)

    When I removed the mask my misclicking in a haste, and not being able to put it back on, I even thought it was a bug and contacted support - then some guy I met told me it was removed on purpose with the last patch...wtf?!

    I really miss the ballistic helmet gas mask combination. It even bugs me so much that I can't continue playing at the moment - kind of. Basically they removed a costumisation/character individualisation option. (why would any developer remove such a feature in the first place - makes no sense to me at all o.O) They should allow us wearing both items at the same time. They have to reimplement it-.-. I never even recognized the clipping issue with the gas mask and helmet combo XD.
