In my experiences I have found the Riders Jacket to be the best protection in game so far for chest area. I have survived multiple gunshots to the chest and paired with Motorcycle Helmet (I think is better than ballistics because u can get 1-3 hit KO'd with one and with motorbike helmet you dont get KO'd very easily, also ... Your Ballistic helmet doesnt do shit vs rifle... it protects very minorly vs handguns and even then a direct head shot is still fatal usually.) and Assault Vest/Press Vest I have simply shrugged off melee attacks including axe hits etc. It also seems to wear down at a much slower rate than other chest peices for example the TTSKO which can go from Pristine to badly damaged in one zombie attack. What do you guys think? Anyone able to put this to test?

I would say god mode cheat.... makes no sense... I have 1 shot people before with mosin in chest and they were fully geared. As for your buddies M4 spraying... the m4 is just a glorified Pea shooter at the moment. I kill players just as fast with pistols lol

I play on high settings at home shitty settings on laptop. And even on high settings...maybe its just me. But whatever makes you feel safer in dayz

I see people in full green/camo trying to hide in trees/bushes/grass all the time. If you play a lot of fps games your eyes are trained to see other players regardless of what they are wearing.Its like current military camo in the middle east..doesn't do shit. And in my defense, most the PvP in dayz is urban warfare were the cammo actually stands out.

No one has the time to spend hours and hours getting anywhere in the game who have a life outside iof gaming. Why do you think a lot of open world games and MMOs have fast travel/portals. What YOU or I want is not what the majority wants. My guess is the forum community is less than 1/10 the games total player base.

The game is already very niche..to much realism would make it unplayable for most. Unless they went total realism but that just isn't possible...yet. You can't make something like mobility 100% realistic when you can bandage bullet holes and call it good lol. You want your cake and eat it too.. fists do more DMG than a baseball bat lol..also have you ever been in a real fight? The human head is harder than it looks... Imagine the status messages if the game was totally realistic lol.. Your balls itch..- gives away position scratching You have an allergic reaction to a bee sting - you are dead You have sprained your ankle. You are too sweaty - develop debilitating rash Would you play a game that was just like real life? Lol

If the was too realistic...I wouldn't have enough time to play nor would I want to spend 1-3hrs to find a can of beans. While we are talking about hyper realism let's talk about why all weapons aren't as lethal as the fire axe. Stab to the eye with screwdriver = dead Crow bar can't kill shit what is it made out of hollow plastic? -Tons if beds in the game can't use bed sheets -1 stab from bayonet would kill pretty much anyone or thing -female players should be physically weaker than male toons starting to sound ridiculous? We play games for fun not to have 2 lives. If you want to use games to have a second life..you have some serious issues you should work out

I wear a wolf mask and black assault vest over riders jacket and black gloves with black cargo pants. I'm pretty sure I scare people when I come through their doors with my all pristine m4,acog,ris,suppressor,mpstock,bipod,flashlight I prob scare the shit out of people lol. And I don't kos people but 9/10 of my encounters I have people with their hands on their head gun on floor or they run.. I have seen guy so startled he ran into a wall emptying a whole clip at a refrigerator lol Non comply= dead Run= my 2 sniper pals take em out Comply= you get food, water,morphine I even tote sawed offs around to give away. If I see someone with a rain coat/payday mask and no pants running around with an axe above his head.. he takes 5 in the chest. It depends on how the persons behavior is really. I find people wearing gas masks tend to kos more

You can get full "end game" geared without server hopping if you just avoid going to the same crappy places everyone and their mom goes in 2-4 hrs. Or You can yard around the high traffic areas waiting to be kosed by the next 12 yr old that just got his LRS/mosin

There would be no point in the game then. Zombies are a joke. Maybe if there were group objectives and zombies were actually a threat. But until that happens PVE would be a huge bore fest.
