Not everyone has a ballistic helmet laying around... but if u have a baseball helmet or hard hat in your garage.... have a friend put it on..... then punch him in the head. I checked for some ballistic helmet vids vs melee combat with no luck. But they are much harder than a motorcycle helmet... they are designed to stop bullets. There is the open face.. but really if your being attacked... your subconscious usually causes you to turn your head to the side or down.. there is no argument here. What gets me... is I am fully geared, I wear black assault vest with black motorbike helmet and riders ajcket with black cargos just for fun lol... I carry fully modded m4 and people just run right up to me and say hi... most of them get shot. If they run directly towards you,...just shoot.... I dont understand how people can be so dumb lol.. stand back a ways and say hi.

General tips: -If they sound like they havnt hit puberty yet over VOIP just shoot them, they wil KOS you when they get the chance. -If you team up and they generally feel the need to run behind you. Just shoot them, not worth the risk. -If you met them in berenzino and htey are geared..... What do you think they are in high pop area for?

Says person who has never been in competative boxing. I am sorry, but you are wrong. A KO in boxing does not necessarily mean BAM LIGHTS OUT. If the man in stripes feels you have lost any sort of balance or if your vision blurs for a moment and you stumble.. .it is a KO. If I was going to lie I would have said I was fucking bruce lee in the ring and never got KO'd and knocked out everyone else all the time. But that isnt how it happens.. Human beings are not made out of glass. Take a boxing class, this is a valuable lesson for any man. We are much more resilient than you think we are. All that side tracking aside. The punching in game is bullshit and needs to be toned down, I shouldn't be able to run up to a fully geared guy strafing and dodging bullets and just ko him and take his stuff. that's fucking dumb ESPECIALLY with people using auto aim and target multihacks being so rampant in the game..they can see you through hills and walls and asll they need to do is get near u 1 2 3 headshots and your down.. its happened to me... 2 guys using multihack found me in middle of woods, killed them... was next town over.. same 2 guys found me in middle of no where... fresh spawns... my friend got all his gear stolen...

Ran through Berenzino ... saw nothing but maybe 5-15 fresh spawns beating the shit out of eachother with pitch forks and wrenches and playing Justin Bieber on VOIP (lol) ran down the coast saw....no one.... not a single person... all the way through electro to cherno.. in cherno i found 2 guys force feeding another guy... they died... and then went to balota.... "crickets" ?????????? I was expecting Ukraine style riots (no offense intended) and a huge battle somewhere... guess ill go check out NWAF. Anyone want to tag along?

Possible not Plausible. It's also possible for people to break their wrists/hands punching other people without a glove.. especially punching someone wearing a helmet. If we are getting super realistic here... I want to see a starving female barehanded KO a full grown man while he wears a helmet... all sexism aside but the game is going for realism right?

Motorcycle Helmet is hands down 100% more efficient than ballistic helmet in this game. Facts: -If you get sniped in the head from a mosin it doesn't matter what you are wearing. -If someone is shooting you with a m4 or other semi auto chances are,, you are getting shot more than once body/head and will likely die anyways. Reason: You can survive kamikaze mike tyson fresh spawns who can take all your belongings in 3 punches if you are wearing a ballistic. The the Motorcycle Helmet... you turn into Rocky.

Usually with serious life changing repercussions... TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Most people that endure a TBI need to be in some sort of special care facility for the rest of their lives. Getting shot in the head and being perfectly ok a week later = equivalent to winning the Power Ball

^ I did Full contact and k-1 In k-1 Traditional clinch and both hands muay thai clinch are illigal. The side effect of these rules made for knockouts to be much more common than American Kickboxing aka Full Contact 11 is good ;)

You mean highly unlikely..... American Kickboxing for 5 1/2 years ..... We are not made out of glass. Inmy 5 1/2 years I was only KO'd 11 times. and I only KO'd someone 6 times. All the other matches were won/lost on points. It is not a common thing especially to just 3 punch KO someone.. maybe if it was some buck 20 emo kid wearing girl pants walking to school it would make sense... but these are the SURVIVORS of an apocolypse... not the weakest links... and wearing helmets.... its just dumb

Rocket.... some dev....anyone... What are your plans to combat hacking in this game. I haven't read much of a response anywhere on here or reddit that gives me or anyone else much hope. The game is Alpha, We understand. But Hacking is so prevalent on high pop servers its getting ridiculous. I was out playing near spawn points killing bandits and I watched a fresh spawn spawn... and from 800-1000m away through my scope..watched him run directly towards me. he got near me and tried to knock me out and failed. I watched him spawn again after i moved to another ridge..... again... running directly towards me its not just coincidence.. he knows exactly where people are at all times. He even killed my friend fully kitted out.... With his fists.... by just running to him somehow and circling around near him and 2 shotting him while he was sprinting with bare fists lol.... People are using a multihack that puts a target box around all items and players. This is terrible =/ I am one of your fans who yells "ALPHA" at people but I have never seen so much hacking going on in an alpha in my 30 years of gaming. I think we all jsut want to hear something more than "Its being worked on" Also, the 1-3 hit KO is a bit ridiculous It doesn't even make sense vs helmets... is this being changed?

First one sounds like you just got out played. Here's what I see happening constantly. Player A gets to excited during engagement and doesn't pay very good attention to surroundings. Player B kills goofy player A after he makes fatal mistake eg. Falling for the slip-flank maneuver when chasing around a building. Player A complains on forums about "hacks" Same shit in World of Warcraft. Terribad kid loses duel to you for fifth time blaming lag and hacks.. no stops to think maybe its just them

Judging by the way weapons in general work in the game my guess is BI employees have never actually used a weapon before and seem to base most their firearm knowledge off television shows and storm trooper aiming prowess
