I don't really know if this is a good system for dayz mod or not but I think it is and I haven't really been getting the frames I thought I would be getting from my system. Computer Specs: GFX: Nvidia 780 DirectCU 2 OC - 3GB GDDR5 OS: Windows 8.1 Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 Processor: AMD FX 8320 3.5 Ghz Turbo 4.0 Ghz RAM: 8GB of RAM HDD: 1TB Toshiba PSU: 600w Corsair CX600 I recently upgraded from an MSI Nvidia 650 1gb to the 780 and I still get around the same fps and I don't really know why. I've seen the posts that say Arma is poorly optimized and DayZ is still buggey but I would think my CPU and GPU would be able to overcome that and atleast achieve somewhere around 50-60 FPS in almost everysingle server ( I usually max around 30-40 fps in some servers and 60 in a select few). I have read numerous forums about turning vsync off and playing with the ingame Video settings but that only gets me about 3-4 fps increase. I have also went into the arma folders and switched the maxframesahead setting to 1 and also the other setting to 1 but I don't really notice any sort of fps increase there. I have also done the nvidia control panel settings, perfer max performance and all other options that I have read on but still only achieve the fps ranges I mentioned earlier. The same can also be said for DayZ SA I only really max around 40 frames even tho I use the lower end settings. Pictures: 1. DayZ Commander Settings 2. Arma 2 Settings 3. Arma 2 OA Settings 4.
