    Sorry about that! It might have been coincidence but I'd exited servers, rejoined, chose different servers, waited hours, etc, and as soon as I did it, my red dot came back. Hope you find your solution soon.

    THIS WORKS: Go to your Steam Library, right click DayZ Go to Properties Click LOCAL FILES tab Click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE .... restart DayZ and your attachments should be back! My pistol wasn't rendering the red dot scope or anything else and nothing fixed it except this. I saw it posted in a stream yesterday and it worked.
