I'm curious too, As I've gone through comparison sites for the 2 cards and the GTX 670 has been winning hands down http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=1863&gid2=592&compare=radeon-r9-270x-vs-geforce-gtx-670 Is there something I'm missing here.....

Thank you , Turns out the RAM is actually 2 x 4GB :) - I've spec'd up similar machines on http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/build-your-own-pc/ And the cost is more then the Alienware as the Alienwares are DELL refurbs saving me around 30% whilst still having a years warranty. Decisions, decisions - One thing I heard was that the SA is processor intensive are you sure I wouldn't benefit in the long run getting an i7? I think I'm leaning towards this though, If you think the 270X over the GTX 670 then I would get an SSD thrown in for the same cost here : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dell-Alienware-X51-R2-3-9ghz-i7-8GB-1TB-256-SSD-Radeon-R9-270X-WIFI-e579-/351029294377?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item51baf9f529 I get A further £100 off that price , Same for this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dell-Alienware-X51-R2-i5-4430-3-2Ghz-Nvidia-GTX-660-DVD-WiFi-8GB-1TB-W8-/221401994121?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item338c965389
