They're not being punished severely. Crows just fly in the general area so you know there's a fucking mass murderer around.

An effect similar to shock or broken bones, a nose should appear with a corresponding status. For example, if a fire has been lit nearby, a nose should appear with a flame under it. If a flare or a gas grenade has been dropped nearby, a nose with smoke under it should appear. If zombies have been recently slain nearby, a nose with rotten flesh under it should appear. If natural water is nearby, a nose with a water droplet should appear under it.

Lakes and rivers have a distinct smell. Yes, you can't smell the water itself, but you can smell lakes and rivers.

DayZ: Stay up all night so that you increase your running level and can run faster! If this turns into an MMORPG, I will quit. It should be S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Online, not Fallout: Online.

ok since we already have vehicles i think we should go a step forward and add mountables think of it like its like this way your in a forest and you find a leoperd so you take a tranqrilizer gun and shoot the leoperd and you tame it and then you ride into cherno and your on your leoperd mount and you go to the church and theirs some other noob with a lion mountable so you go up to him with your high dps machine gun and mow that noob down and then you ride out of town and your leoperd levels up so you can assign different skills to your mountables like more strength so it can do more damage and carry more or more stamina so it can run longer or more agility so it can jump higher or more endurence so u can make it have more health or more you can add perks and skills so that you can level it up and it has a new perk point and u youse that perk points to buy a new upgrade like the ability to roar with your mountable and scar all the zombies away and i think its really cool thanks you for reaidng please comment below rate and subscribe <333

I suggested that new players start out with a really shitty slingshot, but nobody liked that idea.

I sit on a roof all day and throw flares onto the ground, killing everybody that comes close enough.

I killed some guy in Electro. He had really good stuff on him; he had an ak74-Kobra, plenty of ammo, cooked meat, extra revolver ammo for me, etc. He called to his cronies that some bandit just killed him, so I went for cover and scouted the area for 20 seconds. His friends were not nearby. I turned back to the corpse and it was already gone. I'm sure that it couldn't have been somebody else that hid his body because they would want to take all his loot, it would take too long, and if they were to hide it, I would've seen the person running away because he was on the street with no nearby buildings to hide in. TL;DR: Corpses disappear too soon.

Whenever I join a DayZ server, I load the server, then I'm just redirected to the server list without any sort of notifications. I hate my life.

Too easy to obtain gear from them. All you need is a sniper rifle and you can easily pick them all off and then have a bunch of high end guns, ammunition, and transportation.

I think it'll add to the immersion of staying in groups if guitars or balalaikas were added to the game that allowed you to play music. The bandit system is absolutely awful in my opinion. I just lost humanity for killing some jackass that killed my friend. Then, I bled to death and respawned. We were heading to the hospital to do blood transfusions so I could lose my banditry and he needed the blood. Now I'm even further away from redeeming myself. The bandit model looks pretty cool, though. I think we should add some sort of armor or faction system. I'd like to see different factions - communists, fascists, rebels, etc. to be warring over different establishment while survivors just try to make a living.

Horrible idea, would just be abused. If you don't want to be killed right when you spawn, try logging off in the corner of some shed in a not-so-well-traveled part of the city or in a bush in the countryside.

Wouldn't removing bandits' supplies encourage them even more to run around killing like crazy?

You're supposed to want to avoid zombies, not hunt them as game. Also, this isn't an MMORPG and I hope it stays that way.
