A NPC-family... this idea seams to not fit in a pure multiplayer game, but maybe it is eventually going to save the game... Consider this: After some time you've got your Firefighter-Axe to defend yourselves from the zombies and they don't pose any threat to you anymore. You've got the Mosin-Nagant, outfit it with the best scope available, have a sawed-off Shotgun for close combat plus a Magnum plus an Amphibia-S for sneaky attacks; you have plenty of ammo for hours to shoot, and so much food in your maximum-load-backpack, that you have no chance to starve ever. And now what? The pure boredom will push you into KoS and whatever mischief you might invent. But at some point the game will just lose it's sense for you and you'll eventually delete it one day. And here is the idea: Instead of being a complete loner, you will have to feed and defend your defenseless infant child and it's also defenseless mother from frequent zombie-attacks, feed them, while they will eat and drink much more than you do. You will have to also defend them from renegade-players and frequently search for shelter for them, hunt wild animals and cook them together with your wife. Without anything but yourself to care about, i think this game will be out and forgotten in just a few years, so adding such an increase in difficulty may be just what this game needs to be a real survivor-game. That are pretty much my thoughts.
