I have, from a distance. They are all over in Berezino including the fields on the outskirts of the town. With so many people on the servers now I tend to stop in the wood line and have a look around rather blundering into towns and villages. I watched a guy get beat to death by a Zed in Svetlo in front of the police station ( I was safely at a much greater distance watching through a hunting scope), there was much blood spurting, afterwards I only saw the Zed kind of stagger away the way they do. Be cautious, stop, look and listen. Zeds seem a bit less likely to agro, especially at night. I have even walked up on some. Others have come out of nowhere. They seem to have a new kind of attack style too. My biggest issue right now is overheating. I have been sitting under a tree, with my jacket in hand for quite a while now and still over heating, took off the gloves and head gear too. Still, overheating. Character is damp too.

The ski resort is new with .60 in general, many villages have been remodeled or updated too. And the NW has Tisy Base added finally. ALots of good stuff up there.

I noticed, I shot a dude in the face with a Winchester, tried to reload, wouldn't take. So I emptied and still had the 5 rounds in the internal. I DON'T like it. Fireman's jacket is waterproof. Which is nice.

Well, that didn't last too long did it? I got in, rubberbanded some but I figure that was a combination of all the BE kicks and people trying to get in at the same time. The three stooges effect. Spawned on a slope on the west side of Berezino, near where the junkyard used to be. Made my way south along the woodline to a small group of houses inland and south of Berezino. Grabbed a sledgehammer, a green track jacket and Carbine. There was no food but I did find some vitamins. Was making my way over to the large apple orchard south of there when the servers went reset. Didn't see anyone else, any animals or infected but I did hear a chicken.

Must not be a good fix, 3 servers up, hard as hell for me to get in.

Wow, sweetie pie. Yeah, either you just aren't listening, paying any attention or English is your second language. This was on experimental, it happened whether you believe it or not. The servers were taken down and another patch came out pretty quick. But it did happen. Most of the people who were even doing experimental then aren't even here anymore, pet.

In the mean time. These infected are tricky.

Yes, I played it. In fact I have over 4500 hours in game, that's more than six months of real time spent playing this game. 194.79 days actually.

It was much worse than that, I remember spawning in on the beach and by the time I made the road I was hyperthermic, this was about 90 seconds after logging in. I tried to make it back to the water but blacked out before I made it. I also remember starving to death while searching for berries since I was already starving by the time I made it to the berry bushes. This wasn't immersive, it was stupid.

No, I am not kidding you. It's impossible to get food when you can't get that far from a spawn point before you die. Run from a spawn point on the beach and die from overheating before you even get up to the road? You call that fun? It's fun to starve to death before you can even get near an apple tree or a berry bush? Even when people were lucky enough to make it to apple trees or berry bushes they were dying of starvation before they ever found enough berries or apples to eat. That's what you call fun?? You seriously think shoes should go to ruin after a kilometer of running? I know it's Eastern Europe but I imagine they make better foot ware than that. You haven't got even a dinky little clue what you are talking about.

Frankly, I'd rather wait for something great than play something shitty. There was a patch, quite a while back, not sure which one where we would spawn in and either starve to death, die of dehydration or hypothermia before you could even move 100 meters. That was horrible. There was another patch where your shoes would wear to ruin within a 1000 meters of use. Those were bad, I've waited this long so I can wait a few more days. No biggie.

If you haven't seen the movie "Open Grave" I highly recommend it. Very DayZ (some characters drive aroung in a Red Lada hatchback) like and a pretty good plot twist..

I have done this, also keeps the tool bar correctly populated. I tend to grab the assault pack and RUN into the woods rather than try to transfer gear on the spot. Hold the pack in hand, transfer gear from one pack to the other and then swap the packs. I do NOT recommend carrying a second pack in hand as that could be extremely hazardous to your health.
