Wrong, I have been one hitted that way by a zed. I was fully geared too, heard the growl, saw the leaping shadow and then black You Are Dead screenie. What a pisser.

Mine was a guy at NEAF in the tower, I was behind the stairs when he came down so I blasted him, he dropped and returned but missed, I shot him in the face, that was that. He had a gas mask on so I didn't feel any anguish.

I heard that in a military jail at NWAF, I was on the ground floor and could have sworn it came from upstairs, I checked the office and was thinking about sneaking up the stairs when the server reset. Probably saved my life.

As painful as this may sound I have learned to walk with my pistol at the ready when clearing buildings and tents, yes, even hangers. This way I can engage first with well aimed fire versus uselessass panicked supressive fire. It's paid off several times not in gear but with a still alve toon. Once I have engaged someone, checked pulse and coup de grace as appropriate at an airfield though, yes, I beat feet like a Frenchman stomping grapes. Besides, if you run all the time you'll just die tired.

I am here to tell you that I am just glad no one can see what I do when I am playing and my dog barks at something outside the house. Especially at night. Yeah.

Server "Aloha is for Tourists" starts at 400am so it can go through sunrise and have nice moonlight effects. Actually I may have to log in and check that aftre work, after server down times it seems to change itself to a day server.

You are fine and here is why. There is no real content in this game as of yet, no "quest for can opener" or any such thing like it, so lots of players KoS just because they are bored. I think that will start ending sooner rather than later since lately, it seems, everytime I have killed someone everything was on them ruined except for the primary weapon (in hand or not). I was the trusting type, no longer though, it is rare I have an encounter that doen't end with me or the other guy dead. Anyone, anywhere, anytime carring a weapon is fair game as far as I am concerned. No warnings, no hellos. To hell with being friendly and to paraphrase Goering "everytime I hear the word friendly I reach for my browning". Live and let die, mother lovers.

You can get a nice effect like this by lighting a gas lantern at the top of the spiral staircase in a police station too.

Not really so odd since the AK is one of the most prolific weapons in the world these days. If I didn't know better i'd say AK's breed like rabbits.

Odd, I am having no issues finding ammo for the AKM/SKS.

It seems to have done wonders for me. I am looting the mil base and the server restarts, so I figure wow what good luck, then I find it, the HOLY GRAIL of magazines, the 75 Round Drum, WOO HOOO!!!. I then hear shooting, oh shit, I duck, more shooting, close but NOT AT ME. I bail, I mean I run for the nearest wood line and exit the base with two zeds on my ass, I nail them with auto fire from the AKM hoping it will spook the other shooters. I didn't combat log, I just ran and ran and ran and no one chased me. Didn't feel like hunting people in a base full of zeds and I guess they didn't feel like chasing an AK. Finally time for dinner, so I hunker down in a pine tree and log, all nice and cozy till tomorrow!

So I come out of a house today, no weapon in hand and I guess I scared the crap out of three fully geared players who all start screaming "friendly" or "get down now" or a bunch of other crap all at once so I can't understand what the hell they are saying. Then, before I can comply or even say a word, they shoot me. So, if you are in a group, pick one guy to speak, not all of you should panic speak at once and don't be so scared that you just shoot. Those three guys were so freaked out over one guy with a crossbow. I could actually hear the fear and panic in their voices. You three dudes are pathetic. LOL.

I got an option to look for apples at one tree, the option to look for berries at a bush and also an option to chop firewood at a tree, it actually fells the tree when you do it. Just need to figure out how to start a camp fire now.. I am left wondering if the zed ever catches the pig?? Shortly after I saw this I found an axe and went back looking but could find neither. I have yet to find a P38 mag myself. I bet that pile of hats came out of someone's backpack. I am sure they filled it up like that just to piss off some bandits.

Well, well looky here an AK magazine. I found it at a building site, the one SE of Polana called Factory. It was in a spot on the ground level that usually spawns ammo or mags.

I just saw a zombie chasing a pig. I didn't screen shot it because I thought, till I got closer it was a player because of how it was moving. Plus I was picking my jaw up that a zed would agro on a pig and completely ignore me.
