Serious? The bushes for the red berries are darker than the bushes for the blue berries. They are almost always co-located at feeding stations too. Pretty much any feeding station in the Three Valleys area has these bushes right next to it. You have to keep trying though, sometimes it takes a little while to get berries.

Nope they still come at you, best thing to do is climb a ladder and plink from on high. They still haven't mastered or even try to climb ladders. Guess you missed this from a bit earlier; Earlier in the build, I was in Cherno on top of one of the cranes in the port area. I was all the way up top. There were two zeds about 25 meters from me. They were on opposite ends so, roughly 50 meters apart with me in the middle. I shot one with the sporter, reloaded and kept firing on her until she went down, I had no magazine so I wanted to be where they couldn't get at me if they did react and I could reload at my leisure. Every time I hit her she would react and look around but never came at the crane I was on. The other one didn't even move until I started shooting at him, same reaction. Reacted to getting hit and looked around but could not see me.. This was back when we were all starving or dehydrating to death so fast we were dropping like flies, on those cranes, sometimes is a decent stash of food loots, so I always check them (most old timers still have a ladder phobia and most noobs don't know to look there anyway so almost always worth a look).. So, I don't know if they could hear the sporter or not, but I am speculating that since I was up high, they could NOT hear it and since, unlike dogs, they can't look up I figure they had no idea where I was either.

Damn right, calling me a hopper is more of an insult than talking about my mama. So he shouldn't oughta been a cock to me first. You can have as many private characters as there are private servers, if you can get whitelisted and passwords for all of them. However, some of the privates hives share data bases, so that means you get the same character on 1st and 3rd pp servers, which I dislike greatly.

What? No, d-bag, it means I prefer 1pp Servers, there aren't any on experimental ATM. With private servers you can start a new character from scratch anytime AND that isn't hopping since the databases on private aren't shared. Got it small brain?

I am going back to stable for the weekend I think. I hate playing one person all the time.

I have caught myself looking for rising smoke on the horizon and wondering what kind of loot would be in that building as I am driving down the road. I also added a can opener to my go bag.

Wow, I am playing this game way, way too much. I was thinking "what the hell is he making a sandwich from, when did they add sandwiches in game?" Then I realized he wasn't talking about his in-game character. Oi.

I have been having some really nasty desync issues lately, almost always and most especially when driving a V3S. When it starts I can tell by the sound of the engine so I will immediately let go of the W button and try to steer around anything the trucks heads for completely out of my control. Luckily this has not had any dire consequences for me, not even damaged or ruined boots. But it always ends with the front end of the truck messed up, flat tires and busted gas tank. I am thankful this hasn't happened when I had a CTD, I imagine that would have been catastrophic. It is more likely to happen when entering or leaving a medium to large sized town. The latest happened when I was backing over a dead zed in Pushtovka. Suddenly the vehicle jumped in the air, did a 360 degree turn and started heading forward at a high rate of speed. Like I said I was fine and I managed to recover the sewing kit that caused me to stop and back up in the first place (they are so rare now.)

Hmm, two CTD's in a row, no freeze or windows "bong", just gone. Haven't had that before.

Usually, when persistence is disabled, the heli crashes do what they are supposed to do and move around the map as intended. Hopefully the police cars will start doing the same thing. I Ebrim is 100% spot on with his assessment of why the helis don't move. I miss the rain. I hope we get it back soon, but I'd like to see snow too, at some point. I haven't had much luck catching rabbits even

I think it has to do with the accelerated time the servers are running on exp right now. Related, I am driving my truck , the sun flashes up and my truck immediately dies. I think EMP but no, it had just run out of gas, besides a V3S would be immune to EMP anyway.

Since all the servers appear to be on an accelerated time scale, the transition from day to night and night to day are not very smooth at all. In the AM I feel like if I am looking in the direction of Svetlo from any point in the north I could get retinal damage. Seriously, the flash is so bright I think DUCK AND COVER every time. From day to night it's like being in the desert, BAM the light switch is off and day is GONE.

Been that way since .57 came out, very annoying and very encouraging to the Hopper set. They get to one then hop to as many as they can. With all three of them being within 500 meters of each other it makes it super easy for those bastards. I wish they'd just disable the damn things until they can get it figured out.

I found the one I am carrying at one of the new village shops. It was on the shelves in the back. Sort of surprised I found it there. Thinking of mining a check point...

And yet another update: a fireplace with stone circle takes now 4 stones instead of 4 small stones. I can't fight zeds in 3pp for shit, I gotta be in 1pp to make sure I am hitting them during melee.... I like that hitting them throws them off their game now, that way I can keep hitting them without them hitting me.

Haven't seen any personally, and I have been through some areas where animals usually are, but the zeds are in, seen one I evaded and surprised by one coming around a corner that I killed.

Yesterday I was making a couple of snare traps with the usual materials and noticed a "tripwire option" in the command prompt when crafting. TBH, I was hungry so I didn't really pay that much attention to it...
