Mags can only be found at the Heli crash sites now. Ammo was spawning in wood floored tents but I think they are still busted.

I actually found a 30 round .22 mag in a piano house not long ago. Grabbed the first sporter I found after that.

What kills me is that it seems that server pops tend to skyrocket after a reset. It's almost like the real hardcore style of hopper has their alarms set as to when servers reset. After about 20 minutes they leave and the pop goes back to normal.

Just not willing to be ands sick of being robbed by back shooters in a danger area. I heard once of a fella that was killed for what turned out to be a ruck full of hats once down in Elektro. Hillarious if you ask me. I did get killed doing something like that at the NWAF, all I had was a protective case, a few rounds of ammo for a CR75 and an SKS and some rags in the ruck. For some stupid reason, beyond my comprehension, I kept my can opener with me too. Not sure why I did that. Repawned down in Berezino, ran my ass all the way back with a few stops enroute. When I got back I recovered everything else, incluing my Mosin with LRS. Even snuck up to the airfield and grabbed an extra ammo can. While I in the hangers I heard a fire fight break out at the Fire Station. I bailed back to my hide site as the firefight continued in the distance and logged out to go to bed. After a few hours of rack time woke up and logged back in to early evening, had the place pretty much to myself. I love this freaking game...

I do both just because I like having a different variety of toons. I hardly ever use 3rd person in regular just because I usually forget about it being available. If I do use it it's for pictures and that is about it.

\golfclap #rogerthat I agree with you, as everything does not get taken. Things always get over looked and if you know where to look you can find pretty much everything you need. Besides, they can't take everything anyway. I have found morphin in obviously looted military jails, AKM's in barracks, even mags for AKM's in tents. It's not hard to gear up at all.

My latest encounter went like this. I have a rider jacket and an axe, I meet a "bambi", we chat a bit and decide to team up. We get to a construction site and get held up by a dude with a rifle. I am around the corner so I pull my axe until he threatens to blast my new friend. So put it on my back and go stand next to my "friend". While the guy with the gun advances my "friend" goes behind me and starts hitting me in the back of the head to knock me out. It was a trap all along and I fell for it. My fault? You're goddamn right it was, I failed to follow the "trust no one" commandment of DayZ.
