Stupid barrels, I hate you. Tried to dye a plate carrier, server reset, plate carrier GONE. grr.

OK, once more. NOTE: This work around only "works" on the AK 74. 1. On the AK74 paint the wooden hand guard black. Make sure you have an open space in your inventory, the wooden hand grip will detach and place itself in your inventory. 2. Attach the rail hand guard to the AK74. 3. Throw away wooden hand guard. 4. You will then find that you, still, will be unable to attach any thing meant to attach to the rails. It'll look better but it won't work otherwise. Bipod and flashlight still will not attach to the AK74, so it's bugged. It is, at this point, completely impossible to swap out the hand guards on the AKM and the MP5 right now since they are bugged for some reason.

I have still been finding them in the three houses that spawn them, just not with the frequency I once did earlier in the build. Untrue, they also spawn at both the large and small gingerbread style house and the brown two story houses. Same places as the hunter jackets and tents. Sometimes they are under other jackets, sometimes they are not there at all.

The same way people blame guns instead of the people using them? Yeah, with you, Hoppers don't give two shits about houses, the hit lucrative sites like barracks and helicrashes.

Yeah, that's the Prison Island specific bug, the best way to avoid it is to not go up the circular staircase. But IF YOU MUST, hit "x" and move around in the crouch, do not stand completely up until you are out of the stair case.

1. Can anyone confirm the only place plate carriers spawn is out on the prison island? It's the only place on the map I have seen them since .56. 2. Have you noticed when you open a box of ammo you get a piece of paper now? Reminds me of MRE cardboard postcards. 3. The first aid kit will NOT fit in side the pouches for the plate carrier, yet the gun & shoulder holsters will along with the ammo can, the cooking pot and protective case. Why does this make sense? 4. Look If you have a pot and it takes up 2x2 in your inventory you CAN put stuff in it. If you DON'T because of some "reality instinct" you have or it seems somehow counterintuitive to you for some reason then really, yeah, you need to think about that for a minute. If it's empty and still has space in side you'd be an idiot NOT to put something in it, you put stuff in the protective case and the first aid kit then, in turn, put those items in your ruck, don't you? Then why the hell not the pot too? (I saw this reported as a bug on the bug tracker, just completely boggled my mind, the way some people think) I get it with clothing, fine, OK. I don't get it with water proof bags. Every soldier is issued a water proof bag to line his ruck sack with, what's the big damn deal? Anyway, g'night you hairy grip muldoons.

There is a chance the activating a mine that is "worn" may detonate it and kill you in the process. I just found this out the hard way. You're welcome.

I was just on US SW 2 where I was looting one of the barracks in Zelengorsk. I was thinking, wow, not super great but not too awful either when POOF, everything on the floor lootwise disappeared, blinked right of existance. All the loot was gone completely, even the stuff that was just there in front of me. I logged out and back in, nothing still. I still have everything I had just picked up but wow, dudes that was just spooky. If that had happened up on Green Mountain I do believe I would have shit myself. It was NOT a server restart. When I logged back in I could see my self standing next to myself for a few short seconds. I got the hell out of there with a quickness but rubberbanded back into the barracks. Didn't stick around, just bailed after that. So strange, never had anything like that happen before.

Supposedly you can disarm a bear trap, haven't tried, just saw the option. I would imagine you could do the same with a mine, I also imagine the penalty for failure is much, much more serious than it is for a bear trap.

That I still am not sure of, I have been on servers where people pop in and out, I figure it's hoppers hitting the helicrashes and doing this kind of mischief.

Ended up passing out from hunger just after I had opened a can of peaches. Crazy!!

What on earth is fun about planting a landmine someplace and then logging out? You have to overwatch the damn thing to derive any pleasure from it whatsoever. Same when you poison food or water. Not that I would ever do anything like that...

Found an MP5 butt stock in a police car, nice to see you again... Fore grips for AK's and MP5 still bugged, even if you manage to get a fore grip on to an AK74 by painting the original black to remove it you still can't put anything on it. First aid kit and Ammo cans still bugged to 2x2 slots inside. I don't think lootsplosions are done yet, give it a few restarts to see what's what with that. .

My point is, of course there's less encounters of those kind on experimental, but there's always players that are in the for the PVP, and server hoppers are still a plague in public servers. Safe travels survivor. Shoots brother, we were on the same UK server yesterday. Just before you spawned in I had spawned into Msta to find myself being beaten to death by some dirt ball with a hockey stick. Not a word was said by him or me, I tried to run but it was too late. What DB. On another note, the rail hand guards for the AK's still do not work properly.

Mine degrade quite a bit with use. But even then I remember when even ruined can openers still worked. I usually will stash a can opener and matches at all my hide sites, just as a back up. Other than that I usually will just leave them in place.

Something is coming I think, if there is a wipe I hope it's total.
